I don't like "real" sausages (I don't mind eating hoof and nostril but I'd prefer to actually see it than have it minced) but I love Cauldron Cumberland vegetarian sausages.Sorry to all people who have had sad news and congratulations to the losers, I just got back from my first WI and I've lost 6lb I got on the scales 3 times cos I didn't believe it! Just want to thank you all so much for helping me out this week, I don't have anyone in real life I can talk to about stuff...seems my 'friends' preferred fat Vicki!!Ramble all you want to. How does that work then, or are you exaggerating :rotfl: cos in our group it's on, be weighed, get off. She won't let anyone get back on cos it !!!!!!s up the system or something. Not even to try again after kicking off trainers, for instance!
I don't talk to anyone except you lot now, oh except the chap I share an office with and he never listens to what I'm saying anyway!
When she read out my weight loss in group I could feel myself going bright red and then people started asking what I'd been eating so I said whatever you guys tell me to ha!SLIMMING WORLD 13/5/2012- 6lb loss total weight loss 5 stone 8lb
WEIGHT WATCHERS 1/1/11- 12/5/2012 highest loss 6 stone 4lb- final loss 5 stone 2lb :mad:0 -
My other half has never been a huge sweet fan, he would rather have savoury stuff. So then why on earth is he eating so much junk? I love chocolate more than anything in the world and it is torture! My first day on Slimming World and he bought a big bar of milky way and munched through most of it that evening - in the 12 years that we have been together I have never known him to buy a big bar of chocolate.
Yesterday he bought apple pies, rolo yogurts, 3 bags of sweets and a box of mars ice cream and has been constantly scoffing them. Of course he denies it all!

Your consultant must have super sensitive scales...how do they cope with all those people getting weighed one after each other every week, there was a lady in my group today who got weighed went to the toilet and got weighed again!
When she read out my weight loss in group I could feel myself going bright red and then people started asking what I'd been eating so I said whatever you guys tell me to ha!
People at our group also sometimes get weighed more than once if they don't believe it.
Well done to all the losers and hugs to all, especially those with upsetting news.
I was wondering whether anyone had any tips for * week. Last month I had a small loss the week after * week and as my losses appear to be slowing down, I dont want to gain or sts. Does * week make a difference due to bloating with water retention and if so can I combat this I'm any way. Thx x0 -

Oh Vicki I feel for you. Have you tried talking to your friends? Its your first week so I wonder if they even know youve started SW or is there stuff going on in their lives to stop them from mentioning your loss?
There'll always be someone around on here with an encouraging word but do try and talk to your friends as well. You've made a great start it would be nice to share it with people in the flesh.
Well done to all who have had losses this week and big hugs for the people with bad news. x0 -

KJM - you need to take him to task about this NOW! Is he deliberately trying to sabotage your diet? Does he himself need to lose weight (it could be his way of saying no, I don't!). You need the support of the people you live with. Good luck :grouphug:I was wondering whether anyone had any tips for * week. Drink lots and lots of water Missi that's my suggestion. Make sure you're drinking about 2 litres a day. Keep the salt intake down as much as possible too.Mediterranean Mum
hoping to lose 50lb by February 2013! 2st lost so far :j0 -

Yes he does need to lose weight, more than me! He did say that he would join slimming world with me but then 2 minutes later he was eating chocolate so I couldn't imagine him sticking to it.Slimming World - 3 stone 8 1/2lbs in 7 months and now at target :j0 -
Hello all! Could I please join you? I went to my first SW meeting last night and my head is spinning a bit - the idea that pasta doesn't need to weighed out into tiny portions is one to get my head round!
I've done WW twice before and it did do the job but in the past few months the weight's been creeping back so time to get some help I thought!
I'll be keeping my beady eyes out for sneaky tips! I am trying to find something to "spend" 10 Syns on today - I'm sure there'll be some custard creams shoved under my nose at work so don't see it being a long-term problem though.
Oh, I weighed in at 11st 8.5lbs. Boo hoo.0
