Vicki - some people are happy and please dont take offence at this, having a 'fat friend', it makes them feel better about themselves. They are generally shallow and jealous, please don't let them bring you down. Come on here and shout it from the rooftops how much you have lost, don't be disheartened by your friends lack of interest, it is their loss.
Kjmtidea - get him sorted quick smart! You'll encounter a fair few 'sabateours' along the way, dont let them get to you, smile politely and decline whatever they offer. The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -

Vicki, guns is totally right saying that some people like having fat friends for their own self esteem.
The way your going your own self esteem will grow with every 1lb you lose. There is loads of info on the net about low self esteem and ways to help yourself.
As guns says, shout about your progress on here, there's always someone around to "listen".
Wishing you all the best xxx0 -

Morning all,What are Joe's sausages, never heard of them before?
Just found the site for them, never mind.
Are they better than Tesco Cumberland ones?I was looking at Joe's sausages yesterday after reading a lot of good stuff online, if you google 'joe's sausages' it will give you the website. You have to order a minimum of 10 packs but they do burgers and you can freeze them too so I might try them.
I first used to buy Joe's a couple of years ago when there wasn't much choice in the supermarkets and they are very nice but wouldn't say nicer than the Tesco ones. Only difference is they do quite a few different flavours (Lincolnshire, garlic and herb, chilli etc.) and also, as kjm says, they do burgers, grills etc, all syn free. There are a few shops that sell them (only in the North West I think) so you don't have to buy in bulk but I have heard that in some SW groups everyone puts their orders together then shares delivery costs. The place I went to is a bit out of the way now I've moved house and they have drastically reduced their stock, and whilst they used to be 3 for £10 they are now just £2.99 per pack so I don't think I'll bother again, not worth the hassle when I can get Tesco ones cheaper.
Anyway, enough sausage talkEnded up not eating my planned tea last night as needed something for lunch today, so when I got in from Ikea I had a pepper stuffed with savoury rice, with 2 Linda Mc sausages and salad - was lovely and very filling. So, today's plan (EE):
B: Porridge (HEB) with a tsp maple syrup (1) and banana
L: Tuna pasta, roast veg, salad, mayo (1.5)
T: TBC. Something quick after cinema, so maybe egg, bacon, tomatoes and mushrooms
S: Milk (HEA), Greek muller (0.5), Options (2), Freddo (5)2011: [STRIKE]Houses[/STRIKE], [STRIKE]weddings[/STRIKE], [STRIKE]cats[/STRIKE]
2012: [STRIKE]Start renovating new house (aka open enormous can of worms)[/STRIKE] _pale_
