  • Hi all.

Really struggling today, well been struggling the past couple weeks tbh :-(

Been doing Green days as I don't eat meat very often anyway, so find it easier for the HEXs, but this week I just can't seem to get in to it. All I want is naughty things - crisps, sweets, chocolates, mayonaise, fried foods, cheesey things... *sigh*

Doesn't help that I feel really hungry today and have only got a mughsot and two apples today, grr.

yeah tried talking to them this isn't a recent thing its been ongoing since i started WW last year if they do mention my weight loss it's in a negative way saying stuff like i've gone too far even though i am still technically overweight. Suppose I just have to get used to the fact that in addition to the weight i've lost i've lost actual people in weight too

there will always be people who wish they had the willpower and guts to do something about their weight and don't like it when others they know can manage it. i had that when i did it at first, a lot of the extended family were big and they ALL tried SW. however they cheated themselves at every single opportunity like using jar pasta sauce going "its free!". when i did it and stuck to it and lost you could see they were visibly put out by it.

like guns says, the "fat friend" there to make them feel good about themselves being big or not as big as her suddenly becoming "the thin one" is a change too far for some people. they weren't real friends in the first place if they won't support you.

if you have syns available, have them all! thats what syns are for. have a bag of the baked crisps, they are slightly lower in syns than normal and will get rid of a craving. have a dollop of mayo on a sandwich.

if you want cheesy, you can technically have 4 HE servings of cheese on a green day with your 2 HEA and 2 HEB. ends up being a lot of cheese :rotfl:

the treat size chocolate is also usually about 5 or 6 syns a go. curly wurlys are 6.

We're not allowed on the scales more than once either!

Just shows how groups can differ!

I put on .5lb last night - which given all the hassle with * is a good result. I did ask the weigh in lady to pass on that I didn't want to be grilled about my weight gain but the message didn't reach the leader who wanted to talk to me about everything - and then suggested i hit Fast Forward again!!!!!!!!!!!

To which my answer was that I am just hoping to feel well this week - yesterday was the first day in over a week when I haven't had a sleep during the day - and i did manage 2 hours of ironing.....

But I am not doing Fast Forward again feeling as bleuch as i do now..... Ad i have been starving over the past week - I am confidant that FF is inappropriate at the moment given the way I feel...... why can't she see it?

our group is the same....in fact if you get off..and on the scales again, it just automatically flashes up your previous weigh in,

consultant says they "lock" so you cannt get weighed more than once a week (tho i have gone on tues morns sometimes, and back again on the next monday nite, tho i know what she means i think)

CY the FF plan does sound very intense, try to go back to normal this week, and if you feel like you can even a few sucess express days, but i would say you will be just fine sticking to your regular plan!

0.5 gain for *week was very good indeed!

even tho i dont have periods (on depo) every forth week i only loose a half, or gain a half, so thats due to happen at next weigh in

Hello all. Am struggling again - weight has gone up this week despite being on the food plan in the latest magazine. Think it's the steroids I'm back on that's doing it, but it means I really need to calorie count as well as doing SW. Gah. Hate my meds. :(

Thanks evilsquid - I don't tend to use all my syns, I'm always scared of using them!

THe thing I never understand with doing Green is the rule on superfree - how much superfree should I eat when doing green? I worry that some days I eat lots of "free" food (incl free veg) but not enough superfree to make it 1/3rd like on EE.

Would really like a loss this week.

Use your syns woman! Do you know they stand for synergy? They work with the plan to help your loss, some people often find the weeks they DO use there syns they get a good loss. I dont have masses of weight to lose (i'm currently 9st 11) and i use all 15 syns per day and i'm losing every week.

When you say free veg on green what do you mean? There is no 1/3 superfree rule on green or red.
I do nearly all green days.

Invisble - - use your syns - they are there so you don't feel like you do, to help keep you on track and learn to eat the 'naughty' food in moderation.

No need to do 1/3 sf on red or green - thats why I love it! last night on green with my synned suasgaes I had spuds, parsnips and sweet pots then a bit of kale. peppers and mushrooms but didn't have to worry about it being 1/3

one of my groups used to swear by blowout nights too. think it was just the fact that nothing was completely banned and you knew you were having booze/takeaway/chocolate and so as you weren't deprived, it just didn't bother you during the week. i find its when i say "i cant have this" thats when i instantly start with "oh god but i want it NOW!".

with G and R there is no SF rule. you literally can just eat pasta all day and no fruit or veg if you really felt like it or eat nothing but steak another day. wouldn't be very varied but you get the idea! if you don't want SF, just don't have any and don't worry about it. sometimes theres nothing like a mahoosive bowl of pasta and cheese without a vegetable in sight :rotfl:

Well I gave in to the Mr T offer of buy one get one free. It was Jelly Babies and Liqourice Allsorts.
I ate 6 of the latter when I got home! 1 syn each. Well I hope it was only 6.The funny thing is I had been feeliinging a good about myself, I was having an " I am really quite slim" day, What is it with self sabotage?
It's like I want to reward myself, but in a bad way. A fruit reward just isnt so good.
