Thank you, it wasn't the hellish journey I thought it would be until I got to within 3lbs of no longer being classed as overweight and scales keep moving the wrong way!!
I cooking the cottage pie now and it says to serve it with leeks carrots and peas....I hate peas so won't be having them!! I used to be anti fruit but I can easily eat 5 oranges and a banana in a day but today I've only had 2 oranges
Bulk your cottage pie out with lots of onions.Try to be a rainbow in someone's cloud.0 -

Glad you said this because the recipe said 2 and I had 3 so I put 3 in!
I just wondered if anybody had got any negative comments from people when they lost weight because I keep getting told I've gone far enough even though I'm still a large size 14 (the belly will not go down ha!) I think this has played a part in why I've given up on WW cos towards the end I've not been sticking to it as religiously as I was cos I ended up eating what my friends were eating just so the negative stuff wouldn't be said. Some people have actually stopped talking to me altogether cos they said I've changed as a person...guess I'm not the token fat friend anymore!SLIMMING WORLD 13/5/2012- 6lb loss total weight loss 5 stone 8lb

I bet those who aren't talking to you are big and therefore jealous that you've had the willpower to do what they want for themselves. Unfortunately there will always be some who are jealous of you for succeeding.
Stick with it and don't let them get the better of you.Mediterranean Mum

1) why would someone choose to do red or green days when on extra easy you can have both? I know syn values vary but on extra easy you choose the lower of the two? Am I missing the catch??
2) For your HEB you can have bitesize shredded wheat, can't you have the normal size ones??
For me its becuase a) you don't have to worry about 1/3 superfree - so I can have egg chips and beans, a creamy risotto or massive bowl of pasta and not have to have 1/3 sf alongside and b) for get 3/4 HE on green rather than 2People seem not to see that their opinion of the world is also a confession of character.

I've noticed last few days the my skin, hair and nails are very dry and flakey and I'm wondering if I"m getting enough essential fats?
I'd normally use a fair bit of olive oil in my cooking but have replaced it with frylite nd everything else is fat free - anyone any tips/ advice/ experienced similar?
Perhaps I shoudl use my HEB for oil one or 2 days a week?People seem not to see that their opinion of the world is also a confession of character.

Evening folks
Hope everyone has had a good few days. I've not been around as I've been away to attend my friend's funeral. So, so sad. Still in shock as it was so sudden. The funeral took place a considerable distance way from where I live; 7 hours drive each way. So I'm physically and emotionally drained. Have spent the day not doing too much and now feel guilty for the indulgence.
Food has been tricky over the last few days and feel like I have eaten far too many apples. Anyway, have been really hungry today and so have used lots of syns.
B - weetabix, milk, blueberries, banana
L - mixed salad, smoked salmon, cottage cheese + 2 pumpkin seed and oats Ryvita (2.5 each = 5)
Dessert - mango + mullerlight yogurt
S - apple + mullerlight Greek style coconut yogurt (.5 syn)
D - lamb hot pot (gravy granules - 1.5 syns), roast parsnips, peas.
Dessert - my version of Eton mess - meringue nest (2.5 syns), choc Philadelphia (4.5 syns), vanilla mullerlight yogurt, raspberries. Truly yummy.
Total of 14 syns. I know it's within the normal range but I don't usually use that many in one day. But, at least I've stayed on plan.
Have a good week all and keep on losing.0 -
Taj, I think you can pay£5 ( or slightly less)per week, I paid £29 something upfront for 6 weeks. If you paid for 12 you effectively got one free.
