mm, glad you explained that it's people who have fallen off the wagon and trying to justify themselves are the problem. I was beginning to feel a bit uncomfortable. I've been at target for 9 months but I still come on here to make sure I stick with SW. I definitely don't want to revert to old ways. But I hope I don't come across as patronising or condescending. If I have, I apologise.

I have great sympathy (and empathy) with you obsessing about food. I find if it works for me if I've got a nice SW meal planned (like a roast as I know it'll be yummy but also packed with SFs or a 'pub' style meal of a gammon steak or HM burgers with chips and mushrooms, peas and tomatoes) then I can think about that!;)

OMG Maman I hope I didn't offend you in any way. The only reason I come on here sometimes is because of people such as you who give me hope and a little bit of sanity in my insane world! I make a point of actually not telling anyone I'm on a diet because I know the kind of remarks that they give or think (if you don't start showing a loss) so please don't think I was making any remarks about you or anyone else on here.

Thanks for the welcome back :) I like the idea of batch cooking, maybe i should invest in a few reusable freezer tubs and dust off the slow cooker. has anyone here ever done jacket spuds in a slow cooker? i love a proper traditional jacket with crispy skin, but dont have the time when im home to wait for them to bake :( do you also find that meal planning keeps you on track? where do you start?

Lizzie B, ~I to have no time to cook but am doing ok, been on sw a few months.

For the jacket potato, when I get back from work I turn the oven on high, pop a potato or two or three in the mircowave for 15 minutes then take potato out, cover with frylight and place in the oven for 20-30 minutes and they are lovely, saves on time and electric.

I also do this for sw chips, cut up my chips place in microwave for around 7 minutes, frylight when out and bung into high oven - which means no saucepan to wash and speedy crispy chips

    well done losers.

I am gutted - have had a good week, no booze or sweets and I've put ON 1lb - I could greet. I wouldn't mind putting on if I had been off plan or eaten all my syns but I haven't. The only thing I have done differently this week is eat my syns in a daily basis rather than save them for the weekend - I have had between 5 and 10 syns a day.

It is going to take evry ounce of will power to keep me off the wine bottle tonight!

    Never minds kandfsmam,
You know how good you have been, :A so onwards and downwards is the way :A
I had a few weeks like that but I persevered with it and the next week got a loss :rotfl:
I know how disheartening it can be, but good or bad the scales will catch up with you.
So start from today as a new day, of a new week, and carry on regardless. This time next week it will be a huge loss.
    Good luck xx

Quick easy meal screams omelette to me! Dead quick and easy, I make mine with bacon and an A of cheese melted under the grill on top. Serve with salad or beans if you can't be faffed with salad.

I love omelettes, great SW food.

kandfs mum ((hugs)) you are doing so great anyway and you're one of my biggest inspirations on here! :) don't let the tiny gain ruin your day/week :)(if it was me I'd have the wine anyway because you KNOW you've been good and done well) :p

    I'm having another good day! :D :j
we went out shopping(yes, shopping is my hobby in case you're wondering, I do it every day or almost :p:p:p) and bf was saying he want's a burger but I told him to shut up and starve until we get home and I'll make a lovely lunch :p :rotfl:

So I fried(in oil!) some beef burgers for him and I had the Linda Mccartney sausages(not fried in oil of course!) :rotfl:that plus baked beans and a huge salad and I have to say it was really yummy  :p I guess the tomato sauce from the beans improved the taste of the sausages but they were really much nicer then I expected them to be :o

salmon, SW chips, broccoli and salad for dinner :D

Hope everyone has had a lovely bank holiday monday.

Gunsandbanjos - can you share your tips for the perfect omelette please? I usually end up with a burnt omelette / it all in bits !!

Oh and whilst on the subject, can anyone recommend a frying pan that is MSE but which I can put under the grill / in the oven ????

    Hello everyone

well I have decided to join SW this evening

I am currently about 20st 7lb, I was 21st at my heaviest and heading there again , I did lose 6s stone in 2005 but due to a lot going on in personal life I came off my diet again and put the 6 plus more back on again .

I have probably tried every diet going and always seem to give up after a few weeks.

I have been really impressed by 2 people I know who have lost 3 stone and 3.5 stone in SW so thought I would give it a try.

    Doe
    TOTAL 44 weeks lose. 6st 9.5lb :T
