Thats a great idea to stir yogurt into porridge, thanks. I am trying to eat fewer bananas as I think they were giving me feet cramps in bed.Apparently about 5-7 a week is ok but fewer if you are older. I know a few at group who claim to eat 20 a week! Apart from feet cramps I think they were reducing my "throughput"!

Although they are superfree the general wisdom is that too many can slow weight loss - grapes also! 20 a week?

My sister is a nurse and has a son with what could be politely described as bowel issues..... she confirms that bananas do slow throughput!

But nothing slows throughput like dodgy hormones and the S/W FF programme!

Day 3 and i could eat a scabby horse! Never have i been so concious of food! I struggle at lunch with the choices because i don't eat bread..... so really I have to be at home and have a baked potato!

Never will I moan about irregular bowels again! I am in severe discomfort - I am so used to eating 3/4 pears a day + apples and loads of other fruit! Now you count everything - even tomatoes in a salad!

The hormones are driving me mad! Last month * turned up 1 week early. The PMT for this month started on Day 5 of the cycle and twice this weekend i have woken with boobs so swollen that it's like I'm in a timewarp and have gone back 18 years and I'm breatfeeding again! It's AGONY!!!!!!!!!!!!

So, I wonder, is this the change? Or is my body just winding me up?

Oh and today on FF wil be a real challenge - my only roast option is some chicken - but OH has bought lamb...... sobs....

I have just been on the SW website and read the story of Ivy Beensogood ( or somehting like that) I found it under Strategies I think ,it shows how many extra syns we can consume without realising. Quite a wake up call!
Read what Ivy did and ate all day and then read the breakdown.
Actually for anyone who wants to find it, it is buried quite deep in the site.
Go to Useful features, then staregies, then Myths and misconceptions busted and it is a link to Ivys story way down at the bottom of that page.

Oh blimey just read this. It really is an eyeopener. I am guilty of standing at the sink eating stuff thinking it doesn't count. I hadnt noticed that part of the SW site. I shall be logging in and perusing it a bit more. Thanks :T

well im a danger to myself this morning lol. my intention is to finish my assignment and go buy a slow cooker then meet up with the ones i used to do the marathon with. (may day belfast marathon.)... however, willpower is being tested as a girl i know owns a chocolate shop in town and emailed me to say she is trying out a few new products today and to come down and taste them!:rotfl:

im now trying to convince myself of all the bad reasons to go into town like uhh.... traffic, and rain etc, and trying to ignore the little devil on my shoulder called mother nature, telling me that i want chocolate. trouble is, her brownies (actually ANYTHING she makes) are uh-maaaaaaa-zing!

oh and medmum - im exactly the same. If im not eating food, im obsessing about it. what im making, what i want to make, what i will make etc. currently as i type this there is an american food channel on in the background. I've found that im so much more obsessive since starting SW. like i would have taken notions to baking and the house would be coming down with desserts and baked goods, but nothing like this. and i know its not a healthy thing, but if i know im going to be near to a STS weight for WI i almost obsess about getting away from it. i would never cheat and not eat or anything, but i would go for massive walks or anything physically challenging that i could think of to get away from it. does that sound as bad as i think it does?

a girl in work claire used to do SW and she's like 'ive told you before now, 1lb here or there doesnt make a difference,' thats grand her saying that, but she isnt the one trying to lose it lol. i know you girls understand because we're all in the same boat, but sometimes coming from someone who isnt still involved with the SW programme somehow (target or still losing) can be rather i dunno ... condescending?
I'd rather try and fail, than not try and never know

On the wagon again I go.... royally fell off.... 4.5st (63lb) by June 2016.... LET'S DO THIS!!!!!!!:grin::grin::grin::grin::grin::grin::grin:

Good morning everyone, hope you are all having a lovely long weekend!

I've been so-so this weekend! I was out all day Saturday and we came across a pork sandwich shop :( which I had heard of before but didn't know what the sandwiches had in them. We decided to queue up(an extremely long queue) and heard everyone ask for "kingsize with everything".......I thought whatever that is sounds good! So I asked for a kingsize with everything. It's a very large bread roll or bread cake(depends where you're from) with dripping, hot pork, lots of stuffing, pork crackling and apple sauce :o I would love to say it was disgusting and I threw it in the bin..... but it was truly amazing! I wouldn't even want to consider the syns it contained! I would pass on the dripping next time, it made it a bit soggy but nice. So that was my treat for the rest of the year! lol

Had roast dinner yesterday, I did SW roasties and had loads of veg, hopefully made up for Saturday!

Today I've had a mullerlight and strawbs and raspberries.
    Lunch SW fry up
Dinner, the kids want fajitas, will this be ok for me without the tortillas?

Snacks will be fruit, drinks - the usual water, lemon and hot water, herbal teas.

Oh and I've started the 30 day shred, I saw some of you mention it and looked into it. It gets rave reviews. The Wii Fit was too sedate for my liking. I am loving the 30 day shred though, did it yesterday and today, the only part I hate is the jumping jacks, I feel like a right idiot. So, I've just ordered the DVD because I've beed doing level 1 from youtube but would like to progress to level 2 soon. My legs and arms are aching the most, could hardly walk yesterday afternoon so it must be working.

    well done losers.

I am gutted - have had a good week, no booze or sweets and I've put ON 1lb - I could greet. I wouldn't mind putting on if I had been off plan or eaten all my syns but I haven't. The only thing I have done differently this week is eat my syns in a daily basis rather than save them for the weekend - I have had between 5 and 10 syns a day.

It is going to take evry ounce of will power to keep me off the wine bottle tonight!
