I maintained at weigh in tonight which I am very surprised at.

When I think of all the rubbish I have eaten, it makes me realise how well I could have done if I had stuck to the plan.

I am feeling more positive for the week ahead. I definitely want a loss next week and I am going to work hard to achieve this.

I've been to the supermarket on the way home and got some emergency meals - new covent garden carrot soup which I can have (half) as a HEB and an innocent veg pot - ok 6.5 syns and more than I would like on the syn front but a lunch at the drop of a hat and I'm staying in control unlike the sandwich lunch I had today.

I have strawberries to use up - plenty of fruit in the office fridge so tomorrow is looking ok. SW chips for tea tomorrow eve.

    Hi all

I joined last week and lost 4lb at first weigh in today. :D

I've found it quite easy this week, i'm not really cooking anything different to usual, i'm just cooking it healthier and eating less of it because my plate is crammed with salad or veg.

Bread is my downfall, so i've avoided it altogether.

I did WW lots of years ago and just remember being hungry and having to cook different things for me and for the rest of the family.

Sorry for not posting much and just lurking... Weighed in tonight and lost 1lb. I know I should be pleased but I'm gutted. I've done well all week and ate very similar to hubby and he lost 6lb!!!! It has made me more determined for next week though :)

Why-oh-why have I just eaten 2 custard cream biscuits:mad::mad: I didn't want them, and I am stuffed from dinner still:cool: I was just dishing some out to the kids and 2 fell in my mouth:(.

So I need some help working out my syns and checking if today was still an EE day...

B - Mushrooms (loads) beans, toast, apple.
L - spicy noodle mugshot, banana, loads of strawberries.
D - Spaghetti bolognese, this sauce had loads of SF (i think) tinned toms, tomato puree, garlic, onions, mushrooms, peppers, sweetcorn. 250g extra lean mince. It was mainly veg:)

    2 asda custard creams (syns)

    tia xx

4 syns for the day RM is absolutely fine - what you complaining about! That's what they're there for to be used for things like treats and you should enjoy them and not feel guilty about them - that's how the plan works and remember the old saying "a little of what you fancy does you good"!

Missimaxo you've lost 9lb in 3 weeks - I think you should be pretty damned pleased with yourself - work out the average and that's 3lb a week. Remember female bodies fluctuate over the month and it's not just the week of our periods. I'm well into menopause and my hormones still play up so it's better to look at the weight loss over the whole month rather than on a weekly basis.

Well done Mommarat - if you lost that every week you'd be doing great so just keep on doing it as it's written and you'll lose it.

    Helllppp!

Sorry I haven't been posting in there much. I have kept loosing, 2 stone3 pound for me now.

I'm hoping someone can help me with a question.

Is there an upper limit to the target you can set based on BMI?
I thought that with SW you could set your own target, but something that was said at our group today made me think that isn't the case, and they will not accept a target which they consider too high.... anyone know the details? thanks
:T well done on the loss.
You can set your own personal target weight, but they are unlikely to let you go below a "healthy weight" target.
    To quote their website :
Knowing your Body Mass Index (BMI) is a useful guide to the healthy weight range for your height. The government and medical profession use BMI to assess weight in relation to height for both men and women.
At Slimming World we’ll never tell you what you should weigh or what your target should be to. We know how much more committed we are to achieving something we want to achieve rather than something we're told we should do – and that’s why you decide where you want to get to – and we’ll help you every step of the way! If you need a touch of help the BMI calculator serves as a guide for most of us. You can also use our own Weight Range Chart for another way to view your weight to height ratio and to help you set your weight loss goals and track your progress.

So here's a link to their chart too.
