(hugs) Piglet, but congratulations on getting into a size 12 xx

Well we went shopping after dropping ds3 at pre-school, and didn't end up getting home until 1.30pm by which time I was starving and too impatient to make salad and jp. I ended up having a mugshot a banana and then me and the girl shared a punnet of strawberries yuuummmmm.

Are mugshots free on EE? if not I can easily turn into a green day x
Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,

    ahh thank you so much:A

i really want to see 11...but i need to get down to my 6 stone award first (6lbs away)

how long to florida, just over 2 weeks is it?

I SO know what you meanbaout wanting to see the 11 on the scales - I seem to have been 12 stone something for months....

Incidentally, my sister reached target a couple of weeks ago - but she had changed it :- initially she wanted to be 10 stone and a size 14. She called it quits at 10 stone 10lb BUT a size 12!

I think as we age our shape changes, as does the way we carry our weight.
    :jFlylady and proud of it:j

Just enjoyed a lovely Pitta Pizza...syn free... :D solved that cravin nicely.

Non Scales Result today - trousers I'm wearing I haven't worn in 3 years.
Top I bought wouldn't fit at the start of SW at the end of Feb... fits perfectly now. :D

Piglet, don't get obsessed by the scales, nobody SEES the numbers when your flaunting your sexy legs/boobs/hips/smile/confidence/hourglass sensuality on the beach!!! :rotfl:

    Hi all!

Well done to everyone who has lost, lets all keep going!!

So last night SHOULD have been WI - got to class, queued up for 15 mins then the consultant comes out and says that the weighing in equipment won't work and she can't weigh anyone Doh!! So we could either pay a £5 for the "image therapy" or take the week as holiday...no brainer really.

So went home and weighed myself, and my home weigh in was 2lbs and 7/8s (lol) lighter :-) so just shy of 3lbs off! V pleased, fingers crossed next weeks PROPER weigh in will be just as good, need the extra support this week!

    !

That's not fair!! It wasn't your fault so she should just write off this week. I think 'holidays' are limited to 6 weeks a year and any other time off (except serious illness I believe) they can expect you to pay for. There would be a very limited point to Image Therapy without the WI. As we've been talking about on here, most of Image Therapy is about analysing why people have gained/lost and tips to cope. I'd question that next week if I were you.

Incidentally, my consultant only says things like 'a small gain this week' but the horrid thing is she makes everyone applaud your overall weightloss first. On weeks you've gained, I'm squirming in my seat trying to stop her. I suppose they want you to remember how far you've come but I still don't like it.

piglet, your average weekly weightloss is really high compared with mine (1 - 1.5lbs as week) getting to target so that's maybe why this last 9lbs is so hard to shift. I should just keep on doing the right things and it'll definitely come off in the end. Three things about your holiday:
    • if it's clothes shopping you're planning on doing, you could end up with stuff that's too big in a few months. The jeans I get when I had half a stone to go are now really baggy.:)
    • i should go flexi on holiday, relax and enjoy yourself. In my experience what you put on quickly comes off quickly too.
    • Have a great time!

Yep - I kinda made it up as I went along...

600g I used courgette, carrot, peppers, 1 spud, green beans and corn - could use cauli, peas, anything. Chopped into chunks then roasted at 180 for 25 mins - I adeded the beans and corn after roasting.

While they are in cook 1 1/2 cups of basmati rice and handful of red lentils together til just tender.

Dry fry 1 table spoon each cumin, coriander and fennel seeds, 8 peppercorns, 2 cloves and 2 green cardamon then grind. Fry 2 onions in frylite, add 3 cloves galric and a 5cm peice of ginger and a chilli roughly chopped - add a tin of toms and cook for 15 mins - add the spices and blend. Toss the veg into the sauce.

Put half the rice and lentils into a baking dish, pour over the sauce/ veg and top with the rest of the rice. bake for 20m at 180 til the top is crispy.

    Sounds yummy - thanks!

Have a look at this article here

It is so frustrating trying to lose those last few pounds but it seems to be a common theme and you mustn't be too hard on yourself. Enjoy your wedding anniversary :heart2: and have a few treats.

After that, I would go back to basics and have a re-read of your book. You are probably sticking it to the letter but when bored on my commute to work (usually when I am caught up in traffic (on the bus)) I often dig out my book and I am amazed by the stuff that I have seen a hundred times before but which has never registered?!. Perhaps keep a food diary and share on here just so we can see that there is nothing creeping in that shouldn't be there..... Are you measuring everything ?? I to be honest would also be inclined to up your healthy extras for at least a couple of days a week - thats what suggested you do when you are at target (i.e. an extra healthy extra option rather than more syns). Hugs anyhow and well done for your amazing loss so far :T:D:beer:

    thank you so much :A

i am sooooo boring, i do take the books to bed with me on a regular basis :o

i dont measure anything, i dont take milk or cheese, or cereal, i take my HE as cereal bars

thanks for the article, the only other thing i can think of doing more of, is exercising some portion control, cause so far, i have only tried it this week,

in my diary i write down every syn and my body magic for that day

exercise wise, i can do no more. but i could exercise some portion control i think

    thanks for the tips :A

It's taken 48 weeks so far.
I do feel good though, and recently I have noticed that I have got more energy, can walk with a spring in my step, almost run!! ha ha :rotfl:
Florida here we come, loadsa shopping :D:D yay! :rotfl:

My partner has been brilliant with his unending support, with him and my kids I probably could not have come this far.

He rang me last night and told me that he has just paid extra for an upgrade so that we can have more leg room on the plane, how good is he? :)
I jokingly told him we must ring up Walmart, JC Penney, Marshalls, Florida Mall etc to give them forewarning that we are soon to arrive :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: I can see their profit margin go up SUBSTANTIALLY!!
I am trying not to stress myself out for my last 5.5 pounds cos' I know I can get there, even if I put on a couple of pounds whilst away ( not intentionally ) but will be looking to stay pretty much on track.

im just behind you then, i have had 42 weigh ins.

do you look at before and after pics much?

i had to take a before pic to group this morning as there is a SW fashion show being held for a local hospice, and i have been asked to model in it :o

and when u are doing your thing on the cat walk, your before pic is flashed up around the place on tv screens:o:o:o

    mine is :eek::eek::eek: awful!!!!!!!

Have to say I'm totally knackered today! A combination of the long drive, long and emotional day yesterday and my 6.15am departure this morning for my early morning meeting. I've also had a day of driving around like a lunatic but did actually manage to get to our equivalent of Wholefoods and stocked up on some veggies etc. I have all the food I need now for the next 3 days.

Tonight I'm making peanut chicken from Slimming Eats. Tomorrow night it's sausage and bean casserole and Thursday night vegetarian chilli. I also bought a load of veggies to make a big pot of soup which should also last us the 3 nights.

Weather here is totally disgusting today - it's been raining sand all day on and off - hot desert winds always does this at this time of year, it's revolting so all the washing has to go back into the machine! The car looks like it's been driving through a mud storm!

Have a good one everyone - well done to the losers and good luck to everyone with WI tonight.
