Well I had a funny old day yesterday. DS has been poorly so I have been juggling working from home with looking after him as well - on top of 4 nights of very broken (and not a lot of) sleep I was pretty crabbit yesterday.
Food wise I didn't have near enough SF and was just all out of fettle to be honest
B - mullerlight with cherry layer (0.5 syns), pear
    L - pasta n sauce; banana
S - sliced chicken straight out of the packet (yes I am a pig); pear; packet of pickled onion space raiders (3 syns)
D - savoury rice with mushy pea curry; pear

Then DH came home with a KFC bonless box and I had 3 bits (@ 3 syns each) :( Although I had 12.5 syns and I know that that's OK, I still felt like I had "fallen off the wagon" because I don't usually use all my syns unless I am going out.

Here's hoping for a better day; had a pear and black coffee so far - and defrosting carrot & coriander soup for lunch so hopefully I'll manage to up my SF today because I REALLY want my 3 stone off by the time we go away for BIL's 40th on 18th May but it's only another 2 weigh ins so I can't afford a slip up when I need 1.5lb each week.

ETA - on the plus side when i got out of the bath last night I thought my bum looked smaller and my cellulite is a lot better too :)

Ok, so if I serve my bolognese with some extra SF and maybe some fruit at lunchtime too... Are bananas SF? I could have a banana either instead of or with my yoghurt, depending how full I feel xx

  • Hi all!

Well done to everyone who has lost, lets all keep going!!

So last night SHOULD have been WI - got to class, queued up for 15 mins then the consultant comes out and says that the weighing in equipment won't work and she can't weigh anyone Doh!! So we could either pay a £5 for the "image therapy" or take the week as holiday...no brainer really.

So went home and weighed myself, and my home weigh in was 2lbs and 7/8s (lol) lighter :-) so just shy of 3lbs off! V pleased, fingers crossed next weeks PROPER weigh in will be just as good, need the extra support this week!

Made a huge vegetable and potato curry for dinner last night (potatoes, carrot, butternut squash, mushy peas, tomatoes, peppers, onion, garlic and lots of spices etc), and had that - delicious! Got the left overs for lunch today along with two apples. Today will probably be a green day :-)

B: Cereal with fat-free yogurt & fruit (HEB)
L: Leftover Vegetable curry (lots of superfree veg in there)
    Snacks: Apples
Dinner - don't know yet, we're going out for the OH's bday meal, the menu doesn't look too bad but not much veggie choice so will have to see how it goes and make the best decisions I can!

Good luck to everyone who has WI today!

Bananas are superfree, but the unwritten rule is that you shouldn't eat more than one a day..... the same goes with grapes too - they are very sweet and too many may hamper your weight loss...

But yes - your tweaks look good - you're getting the hang of EE.

Good morning, and what a horrible miserable day it is here! :(

Been a little bit off plan over the last few days, it's this damn weather! It makes me want to snuggle and eat :( I've not gone completely off plan but just a few naughties here and there. Been good today.........so far!

    Breakfast, mullerlight and fruit salad
Lunch homemade veg soup and a wholemeal roll
Dinner Homemade chicken jalfrezi packed full of peppers and onions.

Snacks, mango, strawbs, melon and lots of hot water with lemon throughout the day.

I feel more energised today for some reason........maybe it's the fruit salad I keep eating, it most certainly is not the weather!

    Great thanks:A

I remember that, about the bananas especially, from last time. It's just a shame that my favourite piece of fruit is a banana:rotfl:

  • Hi piglet,
