Purchased the Latestinbeauty box

My JolieBox should arrive in the next few days, and I'm expecting my first Amarya box in July. So exciting!

Missli and Purplebutterfly - Wish I wasn't here ladies! This little one seems to be far too snug for my liking - really don't want to have to evict it against its will this week!

Have managed to resist the LIB box, looks really good though.

Hoping to have JB to liven my day tomorrow.

The highlight of my day is if the postie brings me something nice!! I get make-uped to go to the supemarket!! LOL!!

My weakness is bargains (im hooked on HUKD and ebay, and now these boxes!!), im trying soooo hard to resist, but its so HARD!!!
In defense, its my only vice (i dont drink, smoke, clubs and pubs are a loooong way behind me and since being diagnosed with M.E a couple of years ago my stomach and tastebuds have stopped me from enjoying lovely food and my appetite has dropped (plus side lost 6 stone in last year!:o:D -negative side my purse is empty due to bargains!!!!:p)

I love this thread, its a shame the FB swop isnt as active - this is just a pure girlie gossip fest and i really do love it!! Does anyone want to start an MSE swop on FB? Would it be of interest to anyone?
(PLEASE NOTE: Im not discussing swopping things on THIS thread so i shouldnt be in violation of MSE Rules )

It usually changes around the end of the month, depending on when they sell out as Rose says. I have a feeling the June box won't sell out as it was so blah

If I were you I'd either keep an eye on FB as Rose80 says or ask GB direct. The subscription dates change so often and so randomly that it's pretty hard to say which box you'll get It's possible that the beaty boxes might also be affected by the banking problems, as no payments are moving in or out of accounts and it might not be fully cleared until next Friday :eek: Personally, I email them and get the date in writing from them before you do anything. Then you are covered if anything goes wrong.

willowisp if you want to set up a FB group for swapping/chatting etc then please go ahead. I'll definitely join a group but I'm not setting one up because FB annoys, frustrates and terrifies me in equal measure! :rotfl:

Me three for the vanished social life! And the bargain buying. I get immense childish pleasure from all the little packages coming through the door and am sorely dissapointed when they are for OH!

Anyway - as to the facebook swapping page - it is actually very lively and chatty its just private so you have to ask one of the moderators for an invitation. Its all a bit confusing as the link on the first post of this thread takes you somehwere that you fill in a contact form and you then end up in here:

But once you are in it is buzzing, its actually too fast moving for me to keep up with really! There's plenty of swapping going on - not just beauty box stuff but all sorts of makeup and even some clothes and things. A few of the people there were complaining that lack of new blood meant they were all trying to swap the same things so I'm sure some more new faces would be welcome, I was certainly greeted with open arms. Maybe see you over there too

I would really like to get another box but I don't know which to go for, any suggestions? I'm thinking either Lux or SSB, but I am so indecisive!

If undecided have a look at purplebutterfly's first post, on the first page. It has links to all the boxes, with any relevant discount codes.

Both the boxes you mentioned I subscribe to (SSB paid for upfront as part of their jubilee 60% off 6 months sub promo), and they are both good. Perhaps follow the links, and have a look at past boxes to see whether you think that would be suitable for you.

Ladies, I have had the most completely indulgent head-to-toe pampering session with beauty box goodies, and feeling very blissed out.

Clothes are all prepared for tomorrow, washing up done (almost), plus tomorrow nights supper sorted, so I'm curled up on the sofa, with a cup of herbal tea, about to watch 'Fright Night', whilst getting whiffs of skincare stuff. Perfect.
