Trust me to praise my 14+ year old Tweezermans...I got my first Glossybox today. This is what I got (in white text):

Glossybox blush brush - personally don't think own-branded products should be counted in the 5 products, but should only be bonus items
HD Brows Precision Tweezers - they look good, but well, maybe I'll keep them as backups if my trusted Tweezermans fail me one day. They don't feel quite as good quality as the Tweezermans.
BM Beauty mineral bronzer - looks good, but I don't use bronzer
Green People Sun lotion with Tan Accelerator - am not in the sun much and tan way too easily already. Will give to a friend
Vichy Dermablend Foundation sampler - crazily, was pretty excited to try this. I have some keloid scarring and have wanted to try these for a while. Hope these shades will suit my skin (yellow undertones)

Overall, I think the box was pretty good value, but not really suited to me, but hey, that's a risk you take with these boxes are all about, right? Overall, I think I liked my SSB box more - even though the items weren't as high quality, they were items I'd be more likely to experiment with.

I think I'll stay subbed for another Glossybox and see what comes my way. Am disappointed that the mens' box doesn't look promising as I've ordered one for a friend. Will report back.

Am holding out for the Latest in Beauty Skincare Stars Box :-)

Aw Rose80 you're still here :( I was hoping the beauty baby was making its appearance ;)

Sorry to hear you're having bank problems too hun, that's the last thing you should be bothered about right now.

As for knowing everything - I know very little, I just talk a lot! :rotfl: Which is truly the mark of a fool and I openly admit this. I often have less facts than I have opinions :o which is not really admirable

willowisp GO GO GO! You've been waiting a week to order that box ;) and if you think YOU need to get out more, I took my grandad to an organ concert at the senior citizens club and almost wore one of my myriad pairs of false eyelashes! That's about the only "getting out" I do. So embarrassing. Must try harder. Surely it isn't THAT long ago that weekends were all about getting dressed up and painting the town red? Glad there are others whose main excitement each month comes in a little box :D

Rose80, I thought perhaps there had been some news, as hadn't seen you on here.

Marnova, I would have liked your box for the tweezers, and to try the dermablend on some imperfections, although the tanning product would have been of little use.

Glad willowisp, and grannyx2 managed to get the LIB box. It really does look good, I'm currently sitting firmly on my hands as will already have 2 of the products in it.

purplebutterfly, that sounds like my social life! The last opportunity (this year) I had to paint the town red, I couldn't get a babysitter, and was quite relieved when I found out how the girls night out had gone. I meet a friend for lunch every so often, plus get to see my boyfriend only occasionally, due to childcare commitments, so for me those occasions, plus a day in the city are the main occasions I would wear a pair. Think he would laugh if I wore the huge ones I got in an amitee box, they are scary, so perhaps will for a laugh! :D
