  • Mind you they could be the equivalent of Frances Poundland items as I have never heard of any of the brands at all:rotfl:

I looked at the non-organic kit and my mind was racing (which says a lot about me!) - it seems like the companion kit to that book "Fifty Shades of Grey" d050.gif clicky

slimming pills, lip plumper, red lippy and erotic warming lubricant.... followed by a hand sanitiser mood_shocked.gif

Got my Betrousse from the PO and it's huge - all full sizes!!! Mind you they could be the equivalent of Frances Poundland items as I have never heard of any of the brands at all:rotfl:

Still now sign of any of my other boxes this month though:(

Did you get the bath salts, and Lavender with Olive oil soap variation? They are wonderful, and would be clearing the shelves in my local Poundland if they sold them. :rotfl:

I'm saving my pennies for another one. I've just done a huge Tesco shop, plus ordered my kids one of these each, plus my boyfriend this, so am trying to resist spending.

I'm not keen on their other kits. Slimming pills! I don't believe in them. Their Must Haves kit looks better, but I'd rather buy what feels good.

I had to google "Fifty Shades of Grey", I've got so many books to catch up with, unread on my bookshelf that I've got a bit behind with what's what. I have Love in Vein II, which my sister gave me (a gorgeous hard backed edition) for erotic fiction, plus a couple of slightly naff freebies.

gentleorange I had to Google "shart" :o but once I did, it was funny

missli I had to pass on the Betrousse box - just bought another Suki exfoliate cleanser which took me way over my spending budget for this month :(

I haven't read Fifty Shades of Grey and I probably won't until a copy ends up in the charity shop. Not because I don't like erotic fiction but because it is apparently so poorly written. Plus, it sounds a bit, how can I put it politely, "vanilla" for my tastes :o sort of like pretend BDSM. But I may be completely wrong, I'm only going off other people's reviews

If anyone here has read it, please spill the beans!

Sorry for my silly moment earlier, when I saw the name Chocolate Sparkle I immediately thought of that Autocorrect, but now I've thought about it I hope I haven't put anyone off their lipstick!

I've read about half of Fifty Shades of Grey. Can I have one more silly moment and just post the link to Fifty Shades of Suck tumblr because I found it funny:D Don't click if you want to read the book, tons of spoilers. The writer points out the worst parts of the text (though I think she's finished now and she missed lots!) http://50shadesofsuck.tumblr.com/post/21037013689/christian-lies-beside-me-his-hand-caressing-my I don't want to offend fans of the book, I just couldn't get into it at all. I don't think it succeeds on any level and the writing is very repetitive. Very unintentionally funny though!

    No Jolieboxes or babies yet?

purplebutterfly, I've now dusted Love in Vein II off, and will give it a read. It perhaps might be more to your taste, or not!

My sister said it was very good.

I know I've not long received a box, but knowing that JolieBox has dispatched, but is still in transit somewhere is really frustrating.

:rotfl: Missli - I think I worded my post wrong. It sounds as though I'm a real sexual deviant :rotfl: I'm just going off what other people have written - that it's all a bit wishy washy and like the writing of a 14 year old girl who has never had s*x

I had a look at gentleorange's link though and I did burst out laughing. It is appalling.

I really, really disagree with this woman being considered an author though. She cannot write for toffee and it should NOT be acceptable to put this trash into the public domain. There is so much well-written erotic fiction out there but this dreadful female is raking in the cash because of good publicity. It's the same with the music industry - talented, hardworking acts go unsigned whilst Cheryl bloody Cole gets all the attention.

I've nothing against people who enjoy the book but I do think that literacy levels are already so low that we shouldn't encourage people to think that this is an acceptable way of writing.

I'm having cats instead of kids - and believe me, children would not get away with half as much as these two spoiled little monsters do! :rotfl:

Did you end up subscribing to the beauty box aimed at mums? I'm due my last Lux box this month and then it will be SSB until the 6 month sub expires and Amarya full time.

I checked today and SSB had been confirmed on Topcashback for both the forst box I ordered with the 25% discount AND for the 6 month box with 60% discount! I didn't expect that at all.

If baby hasn't come on Friday, do you go in for an inducement the same day or do they wait until after the weekend?

You're quite right to have your little cats, you probably get more unconditional love than with children! I didn't go for the mum and baby box, it looks really nice but I have too many sadly! I have been arguing with the hospital today about the inducement actually, they are adament I need to do it on Fri, but having thought about it bubs will only be 8 days over my DD so I think it's too soon. Would far rather it all comes naturally, so am going to keep on at them to let me do it next week!

    No Jolieboxes or babies yet?

Neither for me gentleorange sadly! And for once I would wait a bit longer for my beauty fix if it meant this LO would come first! :)

    Evening ladies! :D

No Jolie box here yet either.

Not read the infamous "50 shades" either - I'm curious, but if it's badly written I just couldn't read it without tutting. :p

Still hanging in there Rose80? :p Both my babies were exactly 8 days late. Both times from about 2 weeks before the expected DD's everyone kept saying it will be any day - by the time DD's had past and gone I wanted to slap these people. (as it has happened twice the midwife said with all future pregnancies:eek: they would just leave me to get on with it - I just like to overcook my eggs :rotfl:). It is tough though isn't it - no words to describe the sheer uncomfortableness! Fingers crossed we shall be toasting a Beauty Box baby before the weekend!
