In case anyone was wanting to buy the full-sized Balance Me handcream that some of us got recently, it is on offer at Naturisimo for £9.50 delivered (rrp £14.50) CLICKY All other Balance Me items seem to be cheaper here than elsewhere too, at the moment
Plus, my personal holy grail product Suki Exfoliating Cleanser is on offer at £25.16 (which annoys me as I just paid more for it at LoveLula) AND it comes with the cute little bag, and the travel sized toner and face cream. Very good value
Although they have a dedicated "sale" section, prices across the whole store seem to have dropped considerably. :TLiving with Lupus is like juggling with butterflies0 -
Thanks purplebutterfly. I haven't tried Balance Me handcream, but am tempted to at that price.
I'm loving the Santaverde aloe vera cleansing gel, but already thinking ahead, as to what to do when it runs out. I've got nearly a full Burts Bees orangey one which I'm not overly keen on, but is ok occasionally, so think would like to try the Suki cleanser, especially as it seems a good offer.
Is it suitable as an everyday cleanser?New forum. New sig. Yes I still need to lose 2 stone!0 -

lol!my 3rd was 10lb 8oz and the easiest of them all,he too looked 3months old and was wearing 3 month old clothes from birth, having 2 bottles at a time and on baby rice within a month.he now is 6ft 2"and about 12 stone.did get some funny looks when i told people his birth weight but i'm sure the bigger they are the easier gravity pulls them out!!0 -

It depends on your skin type. It says on it that it can be used every day but if you have very delicate/sore skin to use it every other day.
It's not like a cleansing gel, it's a thick paste. Essentially it is sugar granules in a syrup of lemon and oils. You can rub it over your skin and let the sugar exfoliate or you can rub it in your hands until the sugar dissolves and you just have a foamy paste. There are natural acids and enzymes in it that help to break down the surface "glue" of the outer layer of skin cells, so it still lightly exfoliate even if you don't rub the grains hard, if you see what I mean.
If you look for reviews online, most people love it but a few say it is too harsh and leaves their skin red raw, which I can only assume means that they have been scrubbing at their faces like there's no tomorrow. One person complained that it was too rough to use with a Clarisonic brush - well d'oh!
Honestly, if my skin can tolerate it, it must be gentle. It's like any exfoliant - the harder you scrub, the redder your face :rotfl:Living with Lupus is like juggling with butterflies0 -

Someone posted on here about a new site called "What's in My Handbag". You join and then every week you can apply to be sent one of their tester samples.
I joined and this week I received a mini Jurlique handcream - yay :j
Anyway, I think the post about it was deleted because the person had used a referral link, which is not allowed unless it is on the referrals board. If your friends join from your link you get "bonus wants" which I'm not really sure I understand. I need to go and read through it.
So, I will put a clean link to it BUT I will also put a link to my own referral link in case anyone would be kind enough to use mine.

I tried this as well a couple of weeks ago and also had a mini Jurlique handcream in the post. Freebies seem to be coming thick and fast at the moment.

You sound like you are making very good choices. Only you know how comfortable you, and baby feels, so try to relax, and not let them bother you. I remember with both of mine, feeling like I had to do as I was told. I had both by elective Ceasarian, a week before they were due, and it was too early, especially in my sons case. He really wasn't happy at being disturbed.
Go with what you feel's right, and enjoy your last few days of pregnancy.
Thanks Missli, it's terrible feeling pressurised into things isn't it especially when it just doesn't feel right. The baby feels very happy in there, lots of movement, and I really hope nature takes its course before I have to give in and let them intervene.purplebutterfly wrote: »In case anyone was wanting to buy the full-sized Balance Me handcream that some of us got recently, it is on offer at Naturisimo for £9.50 delivered

Hi Everyone,
I've been a "lurker" on this board for a wee while ... I'm fairly new to the whole Beauty Box thing.
I happened across the "What's in my Handbag" site the other week as well and applied for the Jurlique cream but never received anything - do they confirm if you've been successful or do you just receive the item? The week's item is Ren Glycolactic Mask if anyone fancies trying that.
I received my Latest in Beauty box this morning and also signed up to Amarya so just waiting for that box to come next month. :j:j0 -
Welcome WeeGreenDragon!
I did get an email to confirm they were sending me the handcream. Have also applied for the REN mask - that'd be nice!
Hopefully you'll like the Amarya box, check out the first post of this thread for discount codes and deals. There is also good cashback offers for She Said Beauty boxes and Glossybox, even if you are only trying 1 box0
