Oh my word, I completely apologise for the length of my above post. I'm so sorry!xxx
Please don't apologise - you made me laugh quite a few times! :rotfl::rotfl: They were interesting reviews though at first I worried that you'd essentially been mugged by your own Mum! :rotfl:You're obviously very generous with people which is always nice to see
I was disappointed with the most recent SSB box - I've already had the Elemis and Balance Me products and sadly don't like the smell of either. You sound like you have the same skin tone as me so I'm scared off by the San Tropez cream. In the end my most hopeful thing was the BB cream sample but that sounds like it's going to be way to darkI would have loved the Missha Barton body butter and I think the ST spray you got might be better for us palies, but that is just the luck of the draw. I've really liked all my other SSB boxes though so I'm happy to stick with them.
I really loved the Jolie Box, mainly because the NV was a shade I'll wear a lot (China Rouge). The RMK primer looks small but it's half a fullsize (15ml instead of 30ml, so £14 worth *smiles*) I got the eye lash growing serum and I'm really happy to try that. I was also happy with the natural rose moisturiser so one of the best boxes for me!
I gave up on Glossybox as I didn't like the way people all got different products. It's sometimes fab, sometimes rotten. I could do without the disappointment!
I'm trying one more Amarya box but I was sooooo disappointed with this month. The product doesn't even work very well (though I'm thankful it's gentle).
Really, really looking forward to the next Jolie box. Hope it's soon :j
Wow. I wrote lots too! Time for bed...0 -

I was going to get a primer so I'll try the RMK. The colour of it from the outside of the bottle is about the colour I actually need for foundation (but have never found) so I won't need to use it for my whole face as I can't wear foundation but I can use it on my eyes and lips.
I would have preferred the eyelash serum rather than the eye pads, but they're not too bad.I'm trying one more Amarya box but I was sooooo disappointed with this month. The product doesn't even work very well (though I'm thankful it's gentle).
If anyone wants to do a postal swapsies with either the China Glaze nail polish or the Amarya cleanser I'd be happy to consider most things

Hi
Just wondering if anyone can tell me what the Luxbox is like? Wish i could just get them all lol
I had my first one last month, and the whole box was good. All the products had a luxurious feel-good factor to them. Don't think I will be spoiling anything as everybody will have had theirs by now:
Di Palomo Hand and Nail Cream (Wild Fig & Grape, 25ml), The Rosebud Perfume Co Mocha Rose Tube (lipgloss, full-sized), Murad AHA/BHA Exfoliating Cleanser (30ml), Papier Poudre (Rachel Booklet, full-sized), and Sensationelle Flicktips (full-sized).
I have used everything so far except the flicktips, although will use, and its all good.
This plus the Amarya box are definite keepers for me.New forum. New sig. Yes I still need to lose 2 stone!0 -
Thank you both (I'm rubbish at the quotes lol)
I read this whole thread last night and unless i was just really tired i couldn't see anything about the Lux box but think I'm tempted to go with that and the Amarya boxLive Love Laugh

LP87 That was a great post, was nice to see whats been in the last month of so's boxes - sad that i missed out on some of them!
I'm not feeling the Amarya love either but am hoping it was a one off as would have liked last months box from them so will try another box and see.
Not super impressed with GB or LB but it is nice to have a few new things to try.
Looking forward to JB - they must be sending them out soon right?!
Maybe we should all make a post of items we'd like to swap and what we'd like? xxNo buying un-necessary toiletries challenge - Start total: 235. Current total: 273!!0 -
LP would you swap for some false lashes.....I'll never use them!
Ah I'd love to say yes but I've received 3 pairs of lashes in 2 months and so far, aged 25, I can honestly say I'm still a lash virgin! My morning routine pretty much involves rolling out of bed and ignoring a mirror (and all of the disgusted looks I get once I arrive at work unless I put waterproof flicks and lips on the night before) so I'm not sure on that one I'm afraid :-( xx
To the person that said maybe we should create a thing of switches I'm all up for that :-) xx0 -
Which box would be best to avoid false eyelashes please? I'm getting tempted to try one as I've only had Latest in Beauty ones so far but I've never worn false lashes in my life and have no intention of starting now. I also rarely wear makeup other than nail polish and a bit of concealer (occasional lipstick as well) so something geared towards facial and body skincare (with nail varnish, lol) would suit me best - I have a ton of brand new makeup I haven't even used yet including 4 mascaras (I think its a couple of years since I last bothered with mascara). I don't like the sound of the massive quality variations in Glossybox and the others sound a real mixed bag. I don't have a preference for natural/chemical products, either will do - I have mildly sensitive facial skin but the only thing that has ever set it off is some perfumed soaps.
Any suggestions much appreciated, I'll then wait for a special offer ;o)2020 Wins:

I like skincare too, but also love new make-up (although have loads).
Out of the ones I've sampled, so far Amarya, Amitee, and LuxBox seem to have a lot of skincare.
I think LuxBox may have had false lashes in previous boxes, and certainly had press-on flicktips in the box I had. Amitee had falsies in my last box too, so hard to avoid. Amarya is unlikely to have them, as 100% natural products.New forum. New sig. Yes I still need to lose 2 stone!0
