i saw that! must be costing them too much to give the boxes free. plus this new offer guarantees them a minimum return of £20 back into the shop as opposed to just giving away an average of £25 products for nothing.
What's you colouring like as it does look a scary colour don't think it would suit me at all.0 -
Oh no
That's a shame, SuiDreams
Do you know that there is a swap group on Facebook? I think they're called 'Beauty Box Swaps'. I'm not a member of it but it looks very friendly and there might be someone that wants to swap their lipgloss?
Thank you will have to look into that, there are about 3 or 4 colours i would have been happy with so it was really bad luck.0 -
Ummm...
Block your ears Purple Butterfly!
*whispers* I was lucky and got shade 305
Lucky for you I'm high on a codeine/tramadol mix AND I'm super-excited about my upcoming holiday......................otherwise Angrybutterfly would appear

No, seriously, I'm glad someone got it and I'm glad you like it. Any pics of swatches would be welcome.
I really like the shimmer in the nude one so I'm wondering if I can get away with mixing it with a bit of lip balm to tone down the colour. It is really impressively pigmented, I have to say.Living with Lupus is like juggling with butterflies0 -

I hope that you have a really lovely holiday!:)
I hope that the tradadol/codeine keeps working :rotfl::rotfl: (I have to take Tramadol every morning)
I will try to do a swatch of the gloss but given that a) I've never tried to swatch anything before and b) I have no idea how to upload photographs, I may be some time...0 -

I'm very pale, (mac nc15, bare minerals fair to quantify "pale". This is when you know you have a problem with toiletries :rotfl:)
It does go on very pale, it's more like a soft caramel colour when it's on. It's very thick and long lasting too so you do only need a little bit too.0 -

I may risk giving it a try then I've also got fair skin. It does look very scary in the tube.0 -

.
I'm MAC nc10-15 too! Hurray for pale girlies! The problem with the nude colour is that I've got red hair and anything orange-toned looks a bit clownish on me. Pinky peach I can wear (NARS Orgasm blush is gorgeous) but browns need to be blue based.
I've just tried the lip gloss again with a really really sheer layer. It feels lovely, tastes lovely and smells lovely. I'm just not sure about the colour. Hmmmmm.
Having said that, I'm not wearing any make up so ANY colour of lipgloss would look a bit weird right now.
I'm loathe to give up on it because it is so nice. We will see..............................
UPDATE: been wearing it for a couple of hours and it seems to have settled really nicely. It's reacted with my skin ph and oils, as well as oxidising slightly, and the orange colour has cooled considerably. The shimmer is so nice - I love a bit of sparkle - and it seems to last a good amount of time. Even after drinknig two cups of tea, I can still feel it on my lips. It's very slightly tacky if I press my lips together but is smooth to touch with fingers and has actually done a suprisingly good moistursing job.Living with Lupus is like juggling with butterflies0 -
I got shade 304 (Nude Bangli) too in my box. Actually suits although prefer pinker toned shades.
The all-round cream looks interesting, as could use whilst travelling as a all-rounder perhaps.New forum. New sig. Yes I still need to lose 2 stone!0 -
As your all getting on well with the lip gloss, I think I'll. E brave and try it.0

OMG!!! I am so RUDE!I genuinely missed this post (I am blaming it on painkillers) and haven't replied! I'm so sorry.
I intend to have a fab holiday. A full 10 days without pain or painkillers. Lovely Moroccan weather, amazing Moroccan food and a gallon of mint tea each day. Heaven.
I shall take my new lipgloss tooLiving with Lupus is like juggling with butterflies0
