No box for me today, which means I won't get it until Friday now, as I have two days off. Boooo! (to no box, not two days off!) Now, do I give in to the spoilers? Trying not to, but my will power is more will I heck power. :rotfl:

NO! Don't look! :eek: Amarya is the only box this month that I've managed to open without reading spoilers first - although, I looked at the JB spoilers when the bloggers got their boxes and by the time my JB finally turned up, I'd completely forgotten what I'd seen :rotfl:

Well, I've organised two swaps on that FB group but we will have to see how it turns out. Bearing in mind that I really don't need any more cosmetics, I think I'd be better off trying to ebay things but I might change my mind.

Missli - got the Bronz repair this morning. I'll be using it when I go to Oz in September, so for once I might look like I've actually been on holiday! Hopefully you've had the toothpaste by now.

I like the look of the REN sun veil too - I don't think I leave the house enough to get yet another sunscreen product though.

I've hit a beauty box dry patch now, although July's JolieBox (my last supposedly) should be dispatched next. Junes was supposed to have gone out 18th June, so am hoping this months will be on schedule.

Today I received my delayed June Amitee box, which was delayed due to problems getting something from one of their suppliers for the box.

This is my last box from them as the items in there just don't excite me and I've never been able to obtain a discount code or cash back offer for them.

The service has been good and the items are always worth more than I paid. I think maybe I am getting tired of the whole concept, feeling more confident going into make-up counters/applying online direct and begging for samples.

Anyway, there was no card in the box, possibly because of the hurried dispatch, which means I don't for once know what the other variants of boxes were.

In my box this month was:

Elemis skin nourishing shower cream - 50ml - approx value £3
Elemis Balancing lavender toner - 50ml - approx value £6
Akoma Witch Hazel Water - 125ml - approx value £2
Akoma Refresh Mask - 60ml - approx value £4
Eden Natural Nail Polish Remover - tiny vial - £1

ps having received the products card by email I note that you can "Mix the Akoma floral water with your facial mask to enhance the benefits of the mask".

So all in all a good value box but nothing to excite me. Hope those of you who are still waiting for this box are happy with yours.

Thats why I cancelled. Out of the 2 boxes I had, only 2 items were really 'me'. They definitely weren't tailored, like they claim. The Nyx eyeshadow in Aprils, plus the Jasmine shampoo in Mays box. The rest of the stuff looked useful, but wasn't that good.

Think I read on their site that next LIB box is 5th August, so ages yet.

BTW due to errors with last month's JB I got sent a replacement and have a 10% off code to use in their e-shop if anyone is interested. I won't be using it, so first to pm me can have it x

Quiet is not necessarily a bad thing. I've been testing a lot of stuff that I'd previously put away. Yes, I've got 5 body-creams, and about the same amount of face-creams opened on my dressing table, but am actually loving the freedom to choose what I want to use at any given moment.

Its why I love the beauty box concept. Out of all the boxes I've had only Amarya has been opened, and am actively using all the products, with Lux a close second (I haven't used those unusual flick-tips yet, but will.

I have a feeling that July's Jolie box will not be dispatched just yet.

I did a couple of swaps on that FB site BUT I was bloody horrified at the new postage charges. One little lipstick, a lip balm and a mini shampoo cost me £2.70 to send :eek: Swapping seems to be an expensive hobby

I have just tried (white) Dawood and Tanner toothpaste from July's Lux box - it is amazing! I have a sore mouth and gums and normal toothpastes sting and burn but this one is wonderful. No pain, tastes lovely and leaves teeth feeling nice and clean.
I might have to alternate it with a harsher one though because I don't know how well it deals with yellowing. Because of my meds (okay okay and the four gallons of builders' tea and black coffee I drink every day ) my toothy pegs are not as sparkly white as Hollywood tells me they should be. Plus, Boots testing panel sent me the new Oral B 3D White toothpaste to try.

However, I am really pleased and it has almost tempted me to resub to Lux. Almost.

I really really like the Balance Me face wash from Glamour though. I'm going to try to stock up on mags before the end of the month - if I can find any that is!
