    Hello purplebutterfly :hello:

I adored what you've just mentioned from last months Lux. A complete convert. Leaves them lovely and bright, so no worries there, although am a big chamomile tea drinker. Red wine's my naughty! :D

I've loved all my products from Lux, and I have sensitive, although weirdly combination skin (has gone from excessive oil, to dry cheeks!).

Amarya is my must-have. Lux, and SSB are almost joint next favourites. SSB less so, through no fault of their own, I just dislike having tanning products. Lux tipped it slightly, as everyone gets the same product, and the eyeshadow was surprisingly good, although I usually tend to go for brighter colours.

So 2 monthly subs for me (plus paid for SSB). I quite liked Jolies after trying the bonus shampoo, but am not impressed at all by their handling of things. This months box will tell, as have put my subscription on hold for now.

Apologies, the free p&p and 4 free samples offer has now expired and is back to 2 samples per order.

The code "renhandbag" may still be working though which gets you a free £20 discovery kit with your order and there is still 10% off your first order.

oooh - just spotted this on FB! Might need to be quick before someone twigs
what is going on though :rotfl:

If you go to the REN website, new customers will get 10% off, free p&p
AND 4 free samples - you get to choose your sampes and they are a good 5ml size
    - BUT if you enter the code renhandbag at checkout, you also get one of the £20
"Six of the Best" kits FREE!

Cheapest item on the site is the pack of 2 muslin cloths for £6. After the discount this is £5.40

SO - for £5.40 you get around £30 worth of
    items.

Just put your chosen items in your basket and add the code - it will show as
the kit costing £20 in your basket. On the next page, open a new customer
account and the £20 is removed.

I already have an account but now hubby has one too ;)

:rotfl: I was born in 1974 so makes me feel r-e-a-l-l-y old!

I got all 4 Balance Me bits from Glamour - caved today and bought Red magazine for the REN bits - also saw the post on the FB group so ordered cloths too.
Might put my Balance Me wash up for swaps as preferring cleansing milks/creams at the moment due to my redness.
Got a REN Hydra-Calm Cleansing Milk from eBay for just over £8 but determined not to open it until I've used up the remainder of the wash I've left (why does the last 1/3 of the bottle last the longest?).

Thanks ladies! :T I've caved and bought the muslin cloths. I've not tried using them, or REN products before apart from what was in the Amarya box.

I keep looking at Red magazine for the REN freebies this month, but it is so hard to justify getting for the sake of it, when I have so many skincare products.

Hopefully I will get loads of guilt-free goodies this way.:j

hey Missli a055.gif I know I am a bad girl for putting temptation in your way and I apologise profusely.

This is just my personal opinion but I only use muslin cloths for convenience. They don't work any better than a standard flannel but they do wash and dry quicker and take up far less space in the bathroom or when travelling. I prefer them to cotton wool as cotton wool is expensive for what it is and I always seem to end up with bits of fluff stuck to my face or hair after using it :o

Muslin cloths are handy and do their job but I blame the whole "ooooh, muslin cloths are the ONLY way to cleanse, it's so chic" thing on Liz Earle. In a superb marketing plan, she manage to make her Cleanse & Polish sound like something brand new and incredible. Fair play to her, it worked and had beauty editors swooning over the stuff.

I won some and was expecting an almost orgasmic experience (watching too much QVC again with their gushing presenters) but I was really underwhelmed. It was just a cleanser/make up remover. I used the entire bottle waiting for the magic to happen and it never did. I put it down to the fact that I always wash my face afterwards to get rid of cleanser residue.

Hope you like your other REN products though Missli. I've only tried full sizes of a couple of products and all the rest have been samples but I've liked most of them. Looking forward to trying the frankincense night cream the most.

WeeGreenDragon, I hope you get on well with the cleansing milk - have you tried oat milk water for soothing your skin?

I'm glad I'm not the only one not to be impressed by Liz Earle's C+P. I found it really irritated my skin (think it's the eucalyptus oil in it) and my Anne French cleansing milk does a much better job at shifting makeup.

I nearly succumbed to the REN offer, but I've got way too much skincare minis to get through, plus I've just bought some of the Antipodes day cream from the Amarya box.

Got my Joliebox as well, and while I got the wrong "personalised" product, they have very kindly said they will send the correct one and to keep the original, which I'll pass on to a friend.

purplebutterfly you are bad...not! That was a great offer you posted, for £5.40 I get the 4 trial Ren products, plus the £20 kit, plus the face cloths. I find the texture of flannels a bit scratchy sometimes, so am thinking these would be smoother. I like to rinse my face well after cleansing too, as I hate residue.

I would never have bought normally, as overpriced for what they are, but this makes buying them worthwhile. So thanks again, and Keep posting deals. :D
