Hi Trudie and welcome. I used to be the same, always starting and never finishing. Especially cross stitch!0
-
Don't talk to me about cross stitch! I have sooo many started but not finished and so many still in the packets
I love them but they just seem to take so long to finish.
I've had a text and apparently I have 3 parcels waiting for me at home! :j Not sure what they'll be as I've ordered from about 10 different places so hopefully be enough to get started on some things. First craft fair is on 4th June and so far all I have is a list of things to do!
Although I have organised a meeting with a guy to get sorted for my shop banner and business cards on Monday evening so that's progress right?!Debt at LBM Apr 2010 £28,767 Debt free as of Nov 2013 :j0 -

Definitely progress! I have received two bird house key holders with clocks ready to decorate today. I've been waiting weeks for them so can't wait to start on those. Nearly finished my second patchwork cushion cover. Really getting into making those now. I have decided I will make some cushions covers for my sister's birthday soon, to match the family photo collage I did. I think she'll love some luxury in her new house.0 -
Hello everyone
lovely to see and hear about all your progress!! and having new people on the thread too

I have been mad busy with the online craft fair and just haven't had a chance to pop inI have made some sales which is good, but have also set up a page for crafters to sell their wares on
I have also been designing the website etc and managed to squeeze in making some tweed brooches and crocheting a cactus :rotfl::rotfl: and did i say about the knitted rug already??? i'm actually too tired to look
I will pop in tomorrow to see if any of that makes sense :rotfl:

Here I am, late at night, and still working! Just thought I would pop by before I turn my laptop off.
The second cushion is done, I managed to fit in a short blog, and have started on one of the key holders with some pens that look like felt tips and dry to look like paint! They're called Giotto.
We've been to the National Railway museum today which has been lovely. Me and hubby (well we're near enough married!) and absolutely shattered so hoping to be in bed by 11.
Think I'm going to attempt finishing the key holder tonight.
I must focus on my website next week as I have loads of products not listed and they won't sell sat in My Documents will they?! There's some to list on Ebay too as loathe as I am to admit it, my sales are still all taking part on there. I don't think I'm advertising enough!
Finally, my company has been nominated to be a Great of Great Britain. This is huge - I'm up against companies like Cath Kidston and the BBC! Please please vote for me and my tiles. I hate to plug, but it's really important! There's no registering if you log in via Facebook. Company link is http://www.thegreatexhibition2012.co.uk/greats/simply-divine-things and the tiles is http://www.thegreatexhibition2012.co.uk/greats/simply-divine-tiles.
Fairy, I can't wait to see your site :-) I think everyone has been pretty busy this week.

Bird houses sound really nice Devine, would love to see some pictures
The paint pens sound really interesting.
I checked out the online craft fair over the weekend Fairy - I thought it was excellent. So wish we had something similar here.
And we really need pictures of the crocheted cactus! :rotfl:
So, I met with the guy for the cards - he is designing me a shop banner, business cards and doing the first print run to give me some cards to get started with for £20. He normally charges £30 an hour just for designing so I'm pleased with thatHave to say having a second job in a pub is quite handy for the contacts you make and people seem very happy to do good deals for the person who supplies them with beer :rotfl:

BTW did you get lots of lovely packages the other day??? i am dying to hear what you up to
I have so many things on the go at the minute - i think my list is bigger than it was to start with :rotfl::rotfl: I have managed to make some space in the spare room and actually got my sewing machine from my mum todayso hopefully that will make things a bit easier! I think i could do with starting another list - will do that tomorrow

I did get lots of lovely parcels, and I have a note to go get the final one from the post office today
In my craft room I'm knee deep in pretty ribbons and cute buttons, which is lovely
I got two wreathes wrapped with the ribbon over the weekend, am hoping to finish decorating them tonight.
I will post photos when I am done, would be great to get some feedbackMuch more useful than OH's 'very nice' without taking his eyes away from the computer screen :rotfl:

Before I start crafting for the day, I thought I would drop by.
Thank you so much for the votes Beccie and Fairy. They mean so much to me.
I've had a sneaky peek at your site Fairy. Looking good and I love the bracelet that you have as one of the category pictures.
Beccie, your craft room sounds heavenly lol.
I have done the two key holders
I'm really pleased with them.
And I made good headway on the bits and bobs cushion yesterday. It's really coming together now.
I threw together three strawberry brooches a few days ago that were a freebie with Craftseller magazine.
And here's a picture made with one of the new fabrics.
Got a tile order to get on with today and some more pictures. The tiles were the first order I've had through my websitesuper exciting!
Must do my blog today as well. It was very late last week. Oops!0
