Aww I think thats lovely what the lads have done chipping in like that. My ds is going away this year with 8 other lads. Just think, it may have been your ds or mine who was the late booker and this would have been a real help towards costs. Twin rooms are very expensive x

Sorry only read first page, didnt know someone had dropped out. Good luck x
Cherish those you have in your life because you never know when they won't be there anymore.

No matter how you feel, get up, dress up & never give up.

I would be miffed in his position. He should not have to pay because someone else dropped out. The person who dropped out should pay the difference.

Also, how old is DS? £19 = 4 hours work is WAY below minimum wage.

According to DirectGov, NMW is £3.68 for 16 and 17 year olds, and £4.98 for 18 - 20 year olds.

Hmm If he's making this much fuss over £19 then I suggest you find out how much spending money he's planning on taking as it sounds like he may not realize just how expensive a lads holiday can be (especially if his mates earn more than he does)

I think from previous threads that he's about 18? So 4 hours work would pay £19.92 gross

Aah thanks for that! For some reason thought it was £6.08 for 18+. :o
