3dogs and mr3dogs I'm sorry about the prognosis that you got, it's not what we wanted to hear either. You certainely are a brave pair to face up to this the way that you are.
Your'e in my prayers and thoughts every day and I, like everyone else on here look forward to your nightly updates.
There's no place like home :)

Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.

Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.

For tricia, I had exactly the same as you, I took a sip of water and swirled it repeating every minute for 12 hours until the emergency dentist opened.
    :(
  • 3Dogs I don't know how you are both dealing with your awful situation so well. Your posts always amaze me by both your and Mr 3Dogs' strength and perserverence to 'carry on regardless'.

If there were more people in this world with half the spirit and determination that you both demonstarate, it would be a much stronger, happier place.

I'm sorry you got such bad news today, :( but I'm in awe of the pair of you for the way you deal with everything life throws at you. Nice to hear you have some holidays planned, enjoy yourselves. Devon is lovely, (but Cornwall is lovlier!!! :p ).

All my very best wishes are with you both. xx

Fudge Cake, if you have skin problems, it's probably not a good idea to be using highly scented soap on it. I've always suffered with eczema and have to use unscented everything. Have you tried Simple soap or Tesco's Skin Wisdom (used to be called Pure Soap)?

If not then it might be worth a go - it's awful feeling self-conscious about your skin x

Or you could try Aqueous cream (can buy a big tub from Boots, or try the smaller tube to start with) which can be used with water as a soap substitute. I use it as even simple soap makes my face sensitive and sore.

anyone got any idea how to get rid of tooth ache?

I had a filling done in November because the majority of my teeth were missing and it took the pain away, but for the last week it's been hurting like crazy so think the filling has slipped or something.

I've been putting toothpaste on it which was working but now I can't get rid of the pain and its soooooo bad :(:(:(:(:(

I dont have any painkillers, would it work to put cotton wool there or anything?

Whiskey or other 37.5 % proof alcohol is traditional pain relief.

More likely to be infection under filling(s).
