I completely agree! I gave my dog Lucy away because she was going to a loving home, they asked if I wanted anything for her but I refused saying I'd feel like I was selling her and that didn't sit well with me as she was truly a gift, god I can't believe I'm actually welling up over it, it was 10 years ago!

She was a pedigree golden retriever and I could have asked hundreds if I was that sort of person, instead I told them to just donate what they would have paid to an animal chairty. She'll be long gone now but I still miss her :o

I have 3 labs that have had a couple of litters of puppies, and I knew of someone who adored their dog and he was getting old, I gave them one of the puppies as I knew he'd have a lovely home.. Ive given one to someone who I knew had his name down on waiting list for a lab in the local rescue centre.. He'd been waiting 2 years and was disspointed as he'd lost his and was missing him soooo much.
I have turned people away, if I wasnt happy with people's attitude towards my puppies, if it didnt feel right I used to refuse to sell....
When people leave me with my puppies I tell them, as far as Im concerned the puppies are still mine, Im just fostering them, and if circumstances change I want them back here and I re-home them myself.. As I want to and do know where all my puppies are till this day..

Anyway, sorry for going on.. I just love dogs... You never would have guessed that I absolutely adore dogs!!!!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Anyway, the reason I popped on this time of night, as its passed my bedtime now...

Good luck for tomorrow Nikki.. We'll all be thinking of you honey, take care just sign on now again even if its just to press one key of the keyboard so we know your ok...

I did get my hair done, and I got offered a job the same time!!!! so it looks like Im heading back to my trade... only 3 days a week while a member of staff is on sick leave, but it'll be nice...

Right bed for me, night night everyone xxxxx

There's no place like home :)

Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.

Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.

    You can try

tools - internet options - on the tabs bit near the bottom of the box click settings - at the bottom of box is open links from other programs, select a new tab in the curent window.

There is somewhere else if that doesn't work.

Thanks AusMummy - I tried what you said but the 'open in new tab' box was already ticked, and it still opens in new window :(
