Hello all, not long back from quad tracks, first we tried was closed so went to another. They were head to toe in mud by the time we left but thankfully when DP cleaned the quads he hosed the clothes down, so fingers crossed it'll only take one wash to get them done! 2 inches thick in mud before that!

That MR Fastbake I think is still cheaper on Amazon, I paid £34.99. Told someone who was just about to pay £50 in Argos for one last week!

Right best get kids tea made, DP buying us takeaway :D he's had a good weekend for a change! Kids back to school tomorrow after half term and boy do I need it, house is upside down!

Hugs to those who need them, haven't had chance to read the thread yet, hope everyone is well

Hugs to those who need them,
One day I might be more organised...........

Just back home having taking boys across the water. Had a lovely but tiring day.

Bathed both boys before we went out to Butterfly Farm. DGS2 soaked himself once dressed with a beaker of water so a complete change of clothes (having washed and ironed everything for going home!) Went to Butterfly Farm which both enjoyed. They had animal handling at 12.00 - millipede, snake, spider etc which boys enjoyed. DGS2 decided to go off on one and I had to put him on a bench for one minute! Then, he slipped on a wet rock trying to get hold of a butterfly and fell into an indoor puddle, banging head as he went down. He was filthy from head to foot!!! We then had a picnic in the car in the pouring rain before I took them home.

When arrived at DD's and SIL's, discovered DD in bed with awful sickness - much worse than the boys had! SIL and I now placing odds as to whether me or him will be next!!! Fortunately it only seems to last for a sharp 24 hours. However, I really don't want to be off work any more or I will get my knuckles rapped! I was supposed to stay over there for dinner but rather tired - I never sleep well when boys are here as I seem to hear every movement, snuffle, cough etc.

Hope all have had a reasonable day. Welcome to new posters. Congratulations to anyone receiving awards or who have done well in exams, tests, course work etc.

    PS

Didn't get washing in soon enough last night before rain came on! It is still absolutely dripping out there on the line tonight as very heavy rain here in east Scotland. Anyone know the forecast for here for the next few days! At least it is now well rinsed with acid rain!

DS2's football was called off due to a waterlogged pitch. I was really disappointed as I hardly ever get to see him play.

Did loads of ironing while DH, DSS, DN, DS1, DS2, DD1 watched the football. Nasty violent game. Big fight just before the end and one of the Chelsea players was KO'd earlier on. I don't think it's a beautiful game!

Roast Chicken lunch was a trememdous success.

I am finally feeling better after last weeks flu.

Baby girl is crying. Will try to catch up with the thread later

SSB re Bichon Frisee haircut! Our friends have the most wonderful male BF and he goes for his shear twice a year with a wee tweaked fluffed tail and ears - bald everywhere else! I keep telling him he is a wee poofy dog when he comes back from groomers! He usually gets done April/May and again August/September. I must admit I think he looks his best when he has his curly coat! However, he seems to like it when he goes for his pampering! He is the most wonderful nature and my DGSs love him dearly. We keep dog biscuits here for when he comes to visit!

    2nquq9c.gif everyone. :hello:

Thank you all for your hugs. much appreciated.

I have been surfing around today and plan to post on the DFW this week. The loan is a bad idea now that I have thought about it a bit and I think I need to tackle head on the biggest problem which is the childcare and tax credits first.
Cue one long phonecall tomorrow to them as I have looked through the claim and we have 2 changes to notify them of and I don't think they are paying the over 50 element. I also need to phone the local schools in this area and get my 2 eldest moved so that I don't need the after school club as I can walk back from work in time to pick them up. This is not posssible at the mo as their school is miles away from us. Rocking the boat with the after school club could be a problem as they take them during the day over any school hols but the local schools must know of
    other arrangements in this area.
As to the LO there are no nurseries local to us so again the schools may be able to help or a chat with his nursery could come up with some creative answers.

Anyway not much OS going on here today. OH has made a quiche as we are overun with eggs and an apple and blackcurrant crumble. We had a roast chicken dinner which was rather scrummy and I just need to get myself organised for work tomorrow.

Take care everyone and have a good night.

    Hi everyone,

Happy Birthday Rdchap  and what a nice surprise party for you yesterday dlb. (((((hugs)))) to those feeling a bit down or unwell.

    Welcome ifit

We went to the car boot sale this morning. It was a bit drizzly but picked up some good bargains in the fruit & veg line. Got home and had some lunch then went for a drive. It fined up lovely and then we headed for the hills, then we got lost. :D Of course DH blamed me, just because I was doing the map reading. Well really. But on the bright side we saw the most gorgeous countryside & lovely sheep. :D

Tomorrow is suppose to be a fine day. After that it's all rain until Friday. So plans are to wash first off and then we are taking my mum's cousin (the one who's deaf but won't wear a hearing aid  ) up to the highlands and we'll stop in and buy lunch. We usually pack our own but I'm sure she'll enjoy the pub lunch.

DH is sound asleep next to me snoring his head off so I will have a bit of a surf and catch up with emails. Have a great night all. Byeeeeeeeeee
Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia. ;)
