What is your charity shop bargain of the week?

Called in at Age UK and they'd restocked the £1 rail. I got a Kew black & cream patterned wrapover jersey dress. It's a bit hunched up on the shoulders where it's been on a horrible hanger but I'm sure it'll come out in the wash! Originally priced at £6.99. Bargain!!
Not sure if these reductions are due to changing seasons (although my dress is definitely Autumn/Winter) but I'm loving it.0 -
In the Cat's protection league today I got five books for £1 including "We're going on a bear hunt" for my grandaughter. Hospice shop ,two kitchen towels, two small jewellery boxes (for goddaughters' xmas hampers) for £1 each and a brand new genuine filofax for 50p!I Believe in saving money!!!:T

Went to Bath with my husband today, bought 6 rush placemats in a smart homeware shop for £14. Went in a charity shop straight after and bought 6 of the exact same ones for £1! Decided to keep all of them as we can use them for the centre of the table. I have hunted high and low in charity shops for rush/wicker mats!“A budget is telling your money where to go instead of wondering where it went.” - Dave Ramsey0

Yet again I am going to have a go at not spending.
I'll continue to read about your bargains.
Wish me luck - will probably last all of five minutes as usual! Here dead we lie because we did not choose
To live and shame the land from which we sprung.
Life, to be sure, is nothing much to lose,
But young men think it is,
And we were young.

Me too. I don't need anything else just now, the only thing I will look out for is bits for DS.Ermutigung wirkt immer besser als Verurteilung.

Did get DS some trousers (Gap-50p), two jumpers (M and Co and unlabelled- £1.20), a dress up Hulk outfit (George-50p) today, and a bodywarmer (unlabelled-£1) and school trousers in a bigger size (M and S-£1), from a variety of charity shops. Sneaked in a pair of cheap leggins (unlabelled-£1), jeggins (South-£1) and a lovely warm top (Next-£1) too.....bad me, but will be extra warmth in the winter!Ermutigung wirkt immer besser als Verurteilung.

2 elasticated waist "granny skirts" to wear as dresses with a belt around my waist £1 & £2, a blue knitted waist coat £1.50, book 50p - all from the Cancer Research outlet shop and a brand new pair of floral wide legged trousers from F&F for £3.50 on the reduced rail at the main Cancer Research shop. All look good and fit well. Good day :-)0

Picked up a lovely piece of professionally framed handmade art today in a charity shop. It was a mixed media piece, embroidered with a skeleton leaf (very understated) in a large frame (about A3 size) I don't really have room for it, but it felt wrong that it had been reduced to just 99p and left sat on a shelf. Plus it does co-ordinate with my crafting area!
Also picked up a set of 4 lovely vintage glass dinner plates reduced to 99p as 1 had a small chip on the rim (not really noticeable unless you look closely).A waist is a terrible thing to mind.0 -

Ooh that is funny - I was naughty the other day and have relapsed already!
I went to Romford to collect a tent that I had bought off eBay for my daughter to take to Bestival as she was away in Asia - I was very early so had a look in Cancer Research and also bought some brand new wide leg trousers from F and F, a Monsoon skirt and Top Shop top.
Well it would have been rude not to.
The charity shops there were fantastic!
Back to Charity Shop Curfew now! Here dead we lie because we did not choose
