I am very jealous of you coat find, I've never found any LTS in a CS. I am with you re the sleeves, it is so lovely to not keep trying to cover your wrists.
Miro - what a night. I've been in that weird 20p shop, crikey he has some junk in there too.
There is one particular chazza that I go in that gets a lot of LTS stuff....I always imagine it's from the same person as it's always the one size. I used to think that I was tall at 5'9" but now M & S tall stuff drowns me.
I like to go into the weird 20p shop cos he gets a lot of old glassware which fascinates me. He seems to have started selling more and more clothes now tho....most of which looks rather grim. I just spotted the scarf from a distance and was amazed that it was as new - shoved in amongst all the horrid tat. Have given it a jolly good wash now!!!

I used to buy LTS but tbh they have got expensive for items I can buy in Sainsbugs, Asda or Primarni that are just as good quality. Was ecstatic to discover Primarni long leg jeans are long enough for me. I'm on the look out for a dressy top or dress for an upcoming family birthday. Have a couple of CS that I will pay a visit to as they have some nice quality stuff (both local Cancer charities)Small victories - sometimes they are all you can hope for but sometimes they are all you need - be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle0

Wildly jealous of the LTS black coat, I paid £210 for mine from them over 20 years ago!
I begrudge LTS' new prices as their quality isn't what it used to be. I bought a blouse by them from the Everything 50p chazzer and the buttons were all out of sync with the buttonholes, meaning the one of the two fronts was 1.5 cm higher than the other - I wouldn't have been impressed with finding that in a new item (I resewed them).
Thankfully, it's easier to get longer lengths in other brands than it was years ago, I'm 5 ft 10, most of which is lanky legs, and used to have a terrible time getting trousers but it's much better now.
Been chazzering today; two books at £1 each, two shirts for kid bruv, a blouse for muvver and a pair of PJ bottoms for me. One shirt M & S at £1.75, the other not-M & S for 50p.
:j Oh, and I got a new cast iron griddle pan for a tenner, about 10 minutes after it had been put on on the shelf. This was on my Wants List, I'd even looked at them new and fainted at the prices of cast iron.
All in all, a pretty productive shopping trip.;)Every increased possession loads us with a new weariness.

Re the LTS brand, I only buy tops from them really, I am well served on leg length on the high street but very few places seem to do an actual tall range which incorporates tops, coats, dresses etc. Next do but it is limited and not available in any shops I've ever been in. I also buy my leggings from LTS, I have to buy either small or extra small from them as their sizes are huge.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

Lordy!
By the number of posters looking for LTS- type stuff it appears I'm a midget in a land of giants. :rotfl:Don't be envious, I spend my life trying to fold my legs around furniture, car, coach and airplane seats designed for folks with much shorter thigh bones. It's tiresome and uncomfortable and I smile grittily if some shorter lady burbles about how she always wanted longer legs (you can have too much of a good thing
).
Have been to a chazzer and returned an item I thought better of, advised the manager (a pal) that I thought they'd underpriced it and its gone back out at just over double (and still well worth it, imo).Every increased possession loads us with a new weariness.

Not a charity shop purchase, but a Poundland one which has caused a fair amount of amusement amongst friends. A £1 candle petal flower. When you light the candle, the flower opens and it plays the entire "Happy Birthday to you" song. (and again, and again, and again!). Actually it's difficult to shut it up. We wrapped it in bubble wrap to try and keep it quiet, and shoved it in the downstairs loo being curious how long it would keep playing for . it played non stop for a month before finally grinding to a halt. (How to make your friends laugh.....or drive them nuts !)G ood value for £1 though.0
