What is your charity shop bargain of the week?

I'm just back from another mooch around Nettlebed, the monthly outdoor charity sale run by Sye Ryder at one of their hospices.
I spent slightly more than I usually do - this time it was about £25 - but for that I got:
Parasene greenhouse heater (the eagle eyed amongst you will have spotted that I have bought a greenhouse heater before, quite recently, but I have three greenhouses .....)
'Antler' brand wheeled overnight/cabin bag in a pretty raspberry red colour which matches my existing luggage beautifully. It comes with a small padlock and key too.
An automatic telescopic umbrella - not any particular make, but it was really pretty.
A bright pink/stripy multicolour woven straw beach bag with leather handles, perfect for next week's hols.
A Girl Called Jack, Jack Monroe's cookery book
Hardback "Kitchenaid" cookery book, it has some lovely recipes in it
Hardback Hugh F-W "Fruit Everyday" cookery book. I have his Veg Everday one and use it quite a lot - this fruit one looks equally as inspiring.
A book of alphabet iron-on transfers, for embroidery or craft stuff
Two 100% wool jumpers in nordic/snowflake/Christmassy designs, which are for a wool-felting project I have in mind
2 oblong Pyrex glass baking dishes, perfect for batch cooking oven to freezer lasagnes etc
2 cute china cat feeding bowls
A pretty blue and cream floral pattern china lemon squeezer, in which the bit you put the lemons on is moulded into the base of a jug. I've not seen one like that before It doesn't have a maker's name on it but it looks very Laura Ashley.
A floor standing flexible neck daylight/craft lamp
6 mini cross skitch kits, mostly Christmas designs
About a metre of dark green felt, for craft stuff
2 pieces of 14 count aida fabric, one black and one cream, for cross stitching onto
A large Tefal nonstick wok. My current one is quite badly scratched after years of use, this new one looks completely unused.
8 dariole moulds
A Maxwell & Williams olive serving set - a small white china bowl on a wooden stand, 8 olive picks, and two small bowls for the stones to go in. I like M&W tableware.
(This is a bit like trying to remember what's on the conveyor belt in the Generation Game!)
But without the cuddly toy!:D

Ha ha, actually I normally buy a couple of cuddly toys (20p each) for our puppy whenever I go, but I didn't see any I liked this time.
I googled the Antler cabin bag and it's a current model, retailing at £175!!! Blimey, lucky old me.0 -

I got a lovely brand new Jasper Conran 3-6 month dungaree and vest outfit for £2.49 yesterday from Age UK. The tag had £14 on it
My Mum got a gorgeous green dress from Coast for £3.99. It doesn't even look worn.0 -
CJ my best laid plans went to pot yesterday, it sounds like you had a very good day :T.
I am inspired to be single-minded in 3 weeks time and get there myself.VfM4meplse wrote: »I ended up buying loads of blouses, a dress and a smart woollen jacket (all a want, none a need) from the following brands: Ghost, Per Una, M&S Autograph, Phase Eight, Kaliko, Monsoon and Wallis.. So I felt quite justified in going on another chazzer-trawl yesterday
My finds included a replacement woollen jacket from Monsoon in black, grey and white (£2), similar from Per Una in red and black for my mum (£1), a Wallis blouse (£2), a denim Minnie Mouse pinafore dress for my niece which turned out to be genuine Disney (£1), and a smart travel bag covered in glittery butterflies which Mum has her eye on. All are washed drying outside as I type.
Plus the obligatory books, 14 of them for £5.50.Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!

gosh, everyone seems to get such good makes of stuff for such low prices!! The best I have managed is my per una top for £3.99. Most stuff is just high street/primard/tesco type stuff. There is a charity shop in a nearish town that has better makes, but tops tend to be about £7.99, dresses etc are well over £15. Even though the stuff is good quality I don't feel inclined to spend that much. Where do you all live? I may have to contemplate a holiday in your direction!May spend - £291.40/£320.00
June spend - £106.40/£320.000 -

East London but I never let an excursion to a new place go by without thoroughly investigating the options before I leave
My bestest ever bargains without a doubt came from Inverness.Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!

Hereford and Southport, but my favourite town for chazzers is Ormskirk. Formby is pretty good too. Sadly Liverpool doesn't seem to have hardly any, or not in the main central area anyway.
As regards labels, am I the only one who will see something gorgeous then put it back because it is Atmosphere? It's a matter of principle, on the grounds that it will probably fall to bits. Silly really.I haven't bogged off yet, and I ain't no babe
