I picked up a lightweight John Smedley fine merino wool cardigan for £1. It looks like it's never been worn. I'd never heard of John Smedley until I googled. Good heavens. The prices.

I found a pretty white short sleeve shirt with embroidery on for a £1 yesterday, and a t-shirt with butterflies on for £3. I'm actually looking for some light weight bright coloured cardigans for the summer, but apart from one where the sleeves had stretched so that it looked as if it would fit an orangutang there was nothing. Some of the stuff is expensive - almost as much as the original would have been! We never seem to have designer brand type stuff around here either - not that sort of area I suppose.
    May spend - £291.40/£320.00
    June spend - £106.40/£320.00

I have lots of these in different colours, they are great for wearing with summer dresses.
Brands I've got include M&S, Monsoon, Wallis, Fat Face, Principles, New Look, F&F, Papaya, TU & Primark.
Obviously, I wouldn't pay much for the latter brands.

My local charity shops are generally more miss than hit, however I did get a pair of new still with label Tu trousers that'll do for work for £2 (original price £20) and an unworn pair of jeans for £2.75. I always seem to do better in trousers than tops for some reason.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.

I had another spend up at my oval Scope this lunchtime :o

For our little one, a beautiful summer dress for £3 white with a pastel rose design on it - so she can look like a mini-me :D

This for £4, retails new at £39 (allegedly):

A Hello Kitty warm anorak in fuschia for when she's a little older, for £4.50. Strangely I can't find an image online, hence original RRP. A bit academic as my sister hates it so it looks like it's going back :(

A couple of blouses for me, one very smart evening blouse from Per Una for £5 and a George one in a pattern I like that will go with jeans for £3. I doubt it retailed for more than £12 originally, but still worth it to me. :)

My charity shop bargain of the week has to be a 14 x 11 inch wooden picture frame for £1.50. I'm going to get some picture cord for it, which will add a bit to the price, but still cheap for a large-ish frame :money:

Husband spotted a pair of binoculars in a local charity shop. He had a shufti, liked the overall look & feel despite never having heard of them (no data left on my phone dashit) & splurged £15.
We hit home, fired up the big box & found the RRP is £305, reduced on one website to £205. Blimey but he is a very pleased bloke!

That IS a bargain...even their factory shop prices are out of my price range. Similarly, if you ever spot David Neiper, grab them too
