in 1 shop we went in they had a dress that I bought in Select a couple of years ago for £8 for £12!?!?!?!?!? seriously? I mentioned it to the manageress and she said it was head office that decided on the pricing.
in Leominster on fri I bought a beautiful rosary, I think that was my favourite buy of the weekend.
I love visiting Ludlow and that part of the world. There are some lovely shops there. I live in London but once a year we go to Ludlow and Bishop's Castle.2025 Fashion on a ration 0/66 coupons

For anybody on the South Coast, Bexhill is the capital of charity shops. I've never seen so many in one town. On a visit to one of them one of the volunteers told me that that groups actually organise Minibus outings for people to do a trawl of the charity shops.
Yes, I know people who live in Bexhill and some times when we go and visit we do the charity shop rounds. The people that I visit always check the charity shops out first before going into an ordinary shop.2025 Fashion on a ration 0/66 coupons

I feel so lucky today, got some lovely things:
The first was a boxed cool and serve item for £5. I hadn't heard of the brand before called Pampered Chef, it is American and sold here for awhile. From googling they are a 'party in your home' type business. Either way, I think this is pretty fab. We like having a BBQ in the summer and it is ideal because you freeze the green inserts and then can serve it full of salad / dips etc.

The find of the day was a beautiful 100% cashmere navy jumper in 'as new' condition for £3.50. It has a button detail on one shoulder that makes it very pretty. The make is Pure Collection and I felt really lucky when I looked on their website and saw how expensive it is. I have never had a cashmere jumper before and it fits beautifully. I am just going to have to work out how to look after it!

I also bought a HB copy of Patricia Cornwall's recent book for £1.99. I don't normally spend so much on a book but I am reading the series and it is the 2nd to last one so a good price for that.
My daughter got a few things too, she was so delighted about the Cadburys Creme Egg Jar (circa 2010) for £4.99. It is this one:

Also a Barbie fully dressed for £1, and two boxed 2011 mcdonald's coca cola glasses for £1
All shopped out x0 -

It certainly is the find of the day. :T
I love cashmere, I can tell instantly when I feel cashmere.
I have 4 cardigans, 3 bought from charity shops, the other from M&S in their end of line sale.
I chuck them in the washing machine on the wool wash with wool liquid.
Good luck.0 -

Thanks Pollycat, I am really excited! Glad to hear you have got lucky enough to find a few. I'll buy some wool liquid and give it a go (um or alternatively ask my mum - who is like amazing at washing to help....). x

I just bought a navy & gold jacquard embroidered dress for a wedding with a matching bolero for £6 & £4.50 respectively.
It's Jessica Howard & I just googled it & it's worth between £100-120!“I want to be a glow worm, A glow worm's never glum'Coz how can you be grumpy, when the sun shines out your bum?" ~ Dr A. I was super excited to go to the Nettlebed Sales again today - the first one this year for me as I have been poorly since January with a two month stay in hospital and two lots of major surgery. So getting out and about like (almost) normal today was quite a big deal for me
I spent a total of £15, and for that I got the following:
10 books for younger daughter's class (she's a primary school teacher, and had sent me with a list of what she wanted!)
Half a carrier bag full of genuine Lego bricks (daughter runs a Lego club for children with autism/ADHD at her school). You can never have too much Lego.
Two boxes of Scrabble (daughter wants to start a lunchtime Scrabble Club for her class next term)
A large, deep oblong Pyrex glass baking dish, complete with snap-on plastic lid to use when freezing what you have baked. New and still with stickers.
A large round Pyrex glass savarin mould
A round Pyrex glass pie plate
Two large Tupperware cake storage boxes, one square, one round. Once I am back at work after my sick leave, I will doubtless need to continue taking cakes in on a regular basis (it's always someone's birthday, or for a charity cake sale or something) and I usually end up balancing them in a deep tray on the passenger seat of the car which can get a bit stressful going round a busy roundabout in the morning rush hour! I've been meaning to buy proper cake boxes for ages.
A chromed rack which slides onto the middle shelf of a kitchen wall cupboard, and from which you can hang a dozen wine glasses underneath. Like in a bar. I've wanted one of these for a long time and was really pleased to find one
A pair of vintage 925 silver and AB crystal dangly earrings, very pretty
Three small cuddly teddy bears, for the gigantic and very playful eight month old Rufus (our puppy)
A 30cm stainless steel very heavy skillet/saute pan and lid. It's lovely. It says on the base that it's from Prestige Professional range but I've googled it and can't find anything remotely similar despite the fact it looks almost brand new. I wonder if it's made it's way here from the USA or something. Still, I'm thrilled with it as it's got to be at least £30 or £40 new
An electric coffee bean grinder. It doesn't smell of coffee so I don't think it's ever been used, which is great because I want it to grind spices in.0 -
A pair of skinny Levi's for DS, he's talland skinny and it's very hard to find stuff that fits (£6.50). An earthenware trough BNWT for DH for the garden (£4). A duck egg blue velvet cushion cover (50p), an Emma Bridgewater mug(£1.50), and a set of 6 Poole Pottery fruit patterned dinner plates (£4) for me.
I've been having a big clear out too, so a big bag of stuff to take to local hospice shop next week.0 -
