Spent a fiver on a single duvet and pillow case cover of Liverpool FC for one of my DGS who is Liverpool FC mad and a Bill Bryson paper back for my other DGS also a very pretty long string of blue beads for my youngest DD for a quid0

I did a bit of research and being curious as to what the signature on the bottom of the pineapple dish was (probably just the guy who carved it?) and also because it appeared to have a previous price sticker which had a $ sign on it.
It appears to be made from Monkey Pod wood and it would appear that it's probably came from Hawaii! Probably a souvenir that someone has brought back off their travels!
DH usually rolls his eyes at my "finds", but even he liked this one!0 -
We've just finished decorating the new dining room, and we have a pine table and chair. The seats need replacing, so we've been looking for material to make new seat covers.
I've been scouring the CS's and found some good quality curtains with linings which will be perfect for 6 chair seats. £3.99!!0 -

Was a bit gutted, DH's dentist had to reschedule his Friday appointment to Saturday so as I had DsS and he wasn't feeling great I didn't go out for a trawl (haven't been for a while, between pregnancy exhaustion christenings and hen nights!).
