If anyone finds themselves in Tewkesbury (Gloucestershire) three is a vintage charity shop in the High street . Amazing place I can spend an hour there.Dogs return to eat their vomit, just as fools repeat their foolishness. There is no more hope for a fool than for someone who says, "i am really clever!"0 -

What's it called? I'm about an hour's drive away. Thanks0 -
Not cheap, but definitely a bargain.
A side table in the Heart foundation furniture shop, needs a bit of sanding and waxing. Bought new £120 (apparently, as parent was looking at them for Christmas and decided that was silly money) I paid £30. With the added bonus that's it's very solid so even Gitdog should have a job knocking it over hence no more red wine stains on the carpet. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -
I got a joules shirt today original price £59.95 ( I know as I bought one) dd took a bit too much of a liking to it and it resides in her room quite a lot. Today they had one at the cs original price £8.50 reduced to £4.25 I only bought mine at xmas so it's not old at all! I also got other dd a mini Boden dress and pair of shorts from the all kids items £1 buy one get one free so total spend £5.25 for probably £100 worth of clothes. Have suggested to dd that we dress like twins as that wouldn't be weird at all. Strangely she isn't keen:p0

I went to Age UK, and managed to pick up 10 Things I Hate About You on DVD for £1. I was really pleased with this, as I've been looking for this on DVD for ages in either a second hand trade in shop or a charity shop. I also picked up a paperback copy of The Torment of Others by Val McDermid for 50p. I've been re-reading the Tony Hill series by Val McDermid, and so I snapped this one up as soon as I saw it too!
The Age UK shop is the one I mentioned previously as being quite tatty and smelly, and it's usually not got much stock in, or what's there is quite poor quality. Despite this, I managed to get something I've been looking for for ages, and the young woman in front of me was buying £14 (every piece of clothing was a £1) of clothes, all of which looked in good condition, and decent quality.0 -
I've been looking for a longline plain black tunic to wear with several pairs of patterned leggings/treggings for ages.
Found one in our hospice shop for £5.00. Not that cheap but it is M&S and was BNWT.
Not a charity shop buy but I bought one of the latest Michael Connelly books - The Burning Room - from our local Tesco charity book sale. It's in as new condition 50p.0 -
