Small victories - sometimes they are all you can hope for but sometimes they are all you need - be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle

A Denby (Fern range) planter for 49p from Cat Protection.

I have 3 of this size now, plus 2 medium, 2 large, 3 vases and one large vase to display my collection of Mother-in-Law's Tongues and cacti.

Most of this range didn't have the Denby backstamp so a lot of people don't realise they actually are Denby but I've seen them in the Denby Pottery book. Made around 1985 so 30 years old.

Back from hols and having washed and sorted out the beach/holiday wear I ended up with a big black bag of stuff 'surplus to requirements' so dropped it off at the hospice charity sale. Course I came away having bought something! A pretty M & S turquoise, crinkly scarf for 75p and a b/n bottle of nail polish for 25p :)

Our local Oxfam have 2 big boxes of M&S bras.

Some appear to be new, some are clearly returns (underwire protruding etc).

They are priced at 3 for..........99p!

The labels have been cut out but I can estimate what might fit me and try them on.

I've bought 2 sports bras like this (£25.00):

    SD_02_T33_6479_Y4_X_EC_90?$PRODVIEWER_SUB$

One like this (£22.50) plus one same style but different colourway for my sister to run in:
    SD_02_T33_6470_YZ_X_EC_90?$PDP_PROD_IMAGE$
Another underwired sports bra (part of a 2 pair pack at £29.50)

    2 x minimiser bras.

1 x Rosie for Autograph with detachable straps and the labels still on. I know this won't fit me but I'll pass it on to my sister to try and if it doesn't fit she can pass it round to her friends and it will end up at our local Hospice shop if there are no takers.

1 x Autograph one for me.

    Plus others for me.

I estimate I've got over £200 worth of bras for less than £5.00. Very happy indeed.

^^^^ Wow! Proof that bargains do exist! It does annoy me though when labels are removed, and the size and washing instructions in the process.

I was pleased with my finds today: 3 books I'd always wanted to read for the princely sum of £3.45.
