Oooh, it's either feast or famine in my local hospice chazza shop! Today was a mini feast. :j

    Cream M & S jacket, BNWT, £5

Peach cotton sweater by CottonTraders, BNWT, £1.50 (think it's a mans but will be great with skinny jeans)

White M & S T shirt with a teeny bit of 'bling' on the front, 50p

Also went back to another chazza shop where I had seen a great big stainless steel cooking pot with a steamer insert and glass lid for £2. It looked quite new and great quality but had burnt on grease around the base. I was quite looking forward to attacking it with wire wool and then using it for jam making among other things. Yep, you guessed it....it had been sold!!!!!

I personally think the Heart Foundation Furniture shops are good value for money. You seem to save quite a bit by buying from them rather than elsewhere.
Paid off the last of my unsecured debts in 2016. Then saved up and bought a property. Current aim is to pay off my mortgage as early as possible. Currently over paying every month. Mortgage due to be paid off in 2036 hoping to get it paid off much earlier. Set up my own bespoke spreadsheet to manage my money.

My rule of thumb is if I'm unsure of buying an item, would I be annoyed if I went away, came back and it was gone? I've been burned so many times doing this in charity shops. I once saw a mulberry mini leather backpack for £9, went away, came back and it was gone. I googled it when I got home as my smartphone battery had died - They sell on ebay for around £250!!!  Gutted but, also, lesson learned lol! (Buy when you see it and charge your phone lol)

My last charity shop bargain was a TopShop navy and white striped long-sleeve tshirt with a thin grosgrain pink ribbon sewn across the neck to look like a bow - £3

My local CS is open on a Sunday so popped in when I went for my Sunday paper. 3 lovely large wine glasses with thick heavy stems for £2.50 - just right for the caravan! Also saw a beautiful fuchsia pink peach skin trench mac by Wardrobe for £7.95 !!!! - size 22 - pooh! Why is it that the people with the same style taste as me are either 4 sizes to big or 2 sizes too small ;)
Small victories - sometimes they are all you can hope for but sometimes they are all you need - be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle

    Another good day today.....

In the hospice shop I found a blue, heavy cotton skirt with fancy stitching for £1.50 :)

And in the community shop I got a BNWT, Private Collection by M & S, pair of trousers in camel for £1 :)

Now having a wardrobe crisis...can't fit everything in! Must have a sort out and take some stuff in to them!

I've had a good couple of days. Yesterday a pair of white Per Una Roma cropped jeans for £4.50 and a Dorothy Perkins cardigan for £3.79. They were found in Westbourne. Today in Age UK Parkstone I got a lovely Laura Ashley dress for £4.95. :):)

Again, someone the same size height and with the same 'style' as me has had a clear out! I do love it when that happens.
Pair of Laura Ashley wide legged trousers, new with a £60 price tag on, £3.99 and a light cotton Monsoon top £2.99, both from a local autism support project charity shop. Not been in there before but will certainly call again.
