This week I got a tan leather wallet for $2. It feels very nice and soft. Inside the flap it is stamped Hand Made Fine Leather and on the outside of the flap, over the dome I can make out an R, but not sure if there is more there without a magnifying glass.

It has slots for all my cards, 3 bill sections, and 2 zippered coin sections, which I wanted so I can keep my food money and general spending money separate.

Went to a (mostly) £1 charity shop and found two tops, a Jane Norman with crossover straps and a running top that I've been looking for for a while. :-)

popped into a shop today & they've had so much stock donated recently that they were having a sale of all clothing at 50p each. They're trying to get rid of as much as they can before putting out the new stuff. Apparently, they get more selling it at that price than selling it for rags.

I got a Monsoon white linen blouse, an H&M sparkly vest, some Next linen trousers, a pair of next linen shorts, some Flo & Fred linen trousers, 2 vests (don't recognise the make), an Asda t/shirt, and a Gerry Weber blouse.

I also got 5 paperbacks for £1 just down the road and A Streetcat Named Bob paperback for 50p. When I opened it, I found some photographs inside so I've put them aside to take back in case the owner discovers they've lost them & they're important to them.

I also got an unopened Murder Mystery game for £1 and another new game for £2 but I can't remember what it was.:o

I got one of those 'bristly feet' things which you put in the shower. That was new & £2.45 - it'll be brilliant for my mum who has real difficulty washing her feet - she already has one but was saying it would be nice to have another for when she wants to steep her feet in a bowl of warm water. :)

The last thing I got was a set of crystal sherry glasses - unusual in that they are slim & straight - they were £4 for the set. They also had a set of port ones to match but I left them there.

Feel very pleased with my haul.

I only ever go into my one when they have a sale (usually half price off what it says on the label) or for shoes which I find are reasonably priced. :)

Today I got a Diana Autoset Dressmaker's dummy for £30 in Age UK. They are selling for £115 new and £75 used, so I was very happy with what I paid. My friend's daughters love it as I gave it them as a joint birthday present.

Not quite charity shop - but I went into a wool / haberdashery shop right off my usual track (I was visiting a friend). I have a lot of lavender and I love to make lavender wands as gifts, but each one takes a metre + of ribbon, so not cheap. I asked the shop owner if she had anything that would suit, and she dived into a cupboard and came out with a bag full of old rolls of ribbon, just the right width & the right colours as well. She said "oh, just put £2 in the charity pot"
    Happy me!

PS: am astonished at the price for the dummy! Well done!

Found a Next black maxi dress and a F&F blue polka dot dress for £1 each. Looking forward to wearing them this summer!
