Then popped into Ludlow on the way home and not much doing there until I got into the Cancer Research shop (by the market) and found a White Stuff dress (that I'd tried on in WS previously but couldn't afford!) and a Sister Sisters CD.

I'd have guessed that was a White Stuff dress even if you hadn't said so.
    It's lovely, lucky you! :T
    I also like Mantaray stuff.

  • Must be the day for white stuff bargains as I bought a white stuff skirt in scope in Hereford for 3.50. Not a charity shop but new black jeans in Primark for two pounds. Daughter bought some brothel creepers in Oxfam and now thinks she's really with it. With what I'm not sure lol x

Has anyone else noticed that some cs's are dropping prices? I live in a rural area with three towns nearby, all of them has at least two cs's that have cut prices to £1 and £1.99. A Dr B opened a couple of weeks ago, they sell nothing over £1.99 - not necessarily ironed but you'd wash it once you got it home anyway. Perhaps they're beginning to realise at last that they've got too much competition with the big chains?

It may just be a seasonal drop as this time of year "Spring Cleaning" kicks in so donated stuff rockets and they need to make room. My local CS was heaving with donations dropped in yesterday and today (Son was less impressed as he volunteers and presses all their clothes a couple of times a week -He's bracing himself for a busy Friday :) )

We were in Hastings on Saturday, haven't been for years to the old town. Found a charity shop there and couldn't resist a look. Bargain! got a memory foam double mattress topper for £3.75 squashed into a large poly bag. Didn't bother to unravel it (no floorspace to repack) and hoped for the best. Fabulous condition and perfect to use on our bed in the caravan.

We must have done Frith. We'll all have to wear something to recognise other old stylers similar to the scarf I've heard they wear on mums net. :-)

    Hi all :)

I haven't been shopping for a while, mainly due to DP having a week off work and he's not a fan of the charity shops. I popped into town today though without him and came back with:

*Black New Look Rock Chic style vest 99p (Oxfam)
*M&S Indigo range dinosaur dungarees for DS £1.59 (Age Concern)
*Beautiful writing paper set £1.00 (Mind) not sure why i needed this as i don't write many letters, but i just can't leave cheap pretty stationary. Print is very Cath Kidston.
