Plus a very nice 'pre-school matching card game' - also new with pieces in sealed poly-bag - which will go to great-nephew as part of his pressie.

I found a pair of New Balance running shoes for £3 the other day - a little grubby but hardly worn. A 30 degree spin in the washing machine has them looking sparkling. Googled them and they're £75+ new. :T
Also found new black and colour ink cartridges for our printer for £2 each. Saves us about £40 buying them new.Dry January: 31/31 days. :T0 -
I bought a candlestick for £10 which I thought was made from wood but think it's terracotta sprayed gold.
There's a new church candle in it and it has a ring of oasis around the top of the stick studded with green foliage, glitter encrusted ivy, some cinnamon sticks wrapped with tartan ribbon, dried orange rings, some 'snow' covered pine cones & has a little cheeky cherub poking out from some of the greenery.
It stands about 75 cms tall and is very heavy - I love it!
The lady in the PDSA shop said that she made five different types of arrangements especially for Christmas. This is the only candle one, all the rest were rings and they were all £8.50.0 -

I have visions of a massed invasion of Worcester's CS by Old Stylers. I'd fly over and join in, but that's not very MSE, sadly.0

I bought a lovely White Stuff dress, not dissimilar to this one but not wrap-over:

for £3.50 in shades of bluey-grey, pink and washed-out lime from our local Hospice shop.
It's a great shop and I take all my old stuff there. In fact, I saw the dress when I dropped off 2 bags of clothes & bric-a-brac yesterday.
It fits beautifully and even better - it's a size 12! :T0 -
