As I'm currently decluttering, I've drastically cut down on Charity Shopping, however I have bought two Liberty print wool scarves in the past few weeks.

I think they are 80's designs, both paisley in various multicolours. Love them and will wear them lots. They were £2.99 each. From two diifferent shops in two different towns. The dry cleaner wanted £6.60 each to clean them:eek: so I gave them a gentle wash.

A waist is a terrible thing to mind.

Have you started shopping again, kitschkitty (or have I got you mixed up with someone else)? :)

I've been looking for a short cardi/shrug in burnt orange for ages but nobody's been kind enough to donate one to the shops I frequent so far. :rotfl:

I bought a Laura Ashley pin cord black skirt with skeleton leaf print for£5 from Oxfam.
In the war on want shop my daughter noticed that they have
What she calls a dishonesty mirror, it makes you look taller and slimmer than you are a bit like a fairground mirror! She was spot on and I must admit I feel rather annoyed about it, if you didn't know then you'd look in it and think you looked great when maybe the garment does you no favours?it's obvious to us because we are both tall and skinny anyway and we looked unnatural in it.BOO!to war on want.

Dishonesty mirror! Never heard the term before but I know exactly what you mean. If I'm honest I quite like them, I'm quite happy to delude myself ;)

Today I got a brand new with tags black velvet blazer from Gap today, it has lovely slightly puffed sleeves. And a grey wool winter coat from M&S. £7 each. Plus a couple of cookbooks including Ina Garten and River Cafe for £1 each.

Haha! I think she may have made up that term.we looked like a couple of bits of spaghetti.
I now need to figure out how to take some of the flare out of my skirt. I would like it straighter.and shorter.maybe it's needle cord not pin cord, it is whichever is the finer of the two.
I also ought five cute hand knitted egg cosies to use for the family at Christmas, a bit daft as they won't get much use and I don't even eat eggs myself but they are sweet and were only 30p each.

Glass block with laser cut Gandalf type inside - all my chaps love the tech, & SF, but youngest has most recent praise from school so he's got it.
