  • Dropped of a couple of bags of stuff at the Age UK clearance shop in Dewsbury that have been sat in the spare room for months since my last sort of the wardrobe, couldn't resist a quick look & found a Monsoon cardigan for my mum, they sell everything for a £1, I have found quite a few pairs of m&s trousers for my mum in there. So if anyone is size 24 plus in the Dewsbury area they should have quite a bit of stuff out soon :)
  • I go a lovely large animal print Monsoon scarf for £2.45. Great for Autumn.
  • A knee length black leather Nehru collared coat for £25. I have one similar in length already but with lapels and it cost more than 10 times as much new

Now I can pretend I'm Keanu Reeves in the Matrix. Where's me sunnies?! :D

A brand new pair of Next heels, this season, rrp £45 for £1.50!!! :j
    2013 wins: Persil Bunny
  • A snuggly M & S grey fleck heavy cable cardi, and an even snugglier cashmere and lambswool brand new scarf (it was cold here yesterday!) for £4.00.

Plus not so much of a bargain, but a find - a 1950s brown imitation persian lamb full length coat, great condition and fits me perfectly! £20.00, still a bargain compared to Ebay prices (and postage, as it's quite heavy.)
  • My family came to visit last weekend and we all went on a charity shop crawl. I picked up a funky, retro casserole dish for £1.50, a basket of shells (for my shell-crafting) for £1.50, and four big shells for £2. I also picked up two hardback books of my favourite author for £2 each. They were first edition and printed about 10 years ago and I only had them in paperback so I was delighted to find them. I will now donate my paperbacks to the same shop.

My family did well too, picking up lots of books and toys, as well as a board game my nephew had always wanted for 50p! My sister also picked up some gorgeous serving platters. I can't remember how much they were, but she loves them!

Went to Ludlow yesterday which has pretty good charity shops though they can be expensive.

    Got:
    A M and S T shirt for a couple of £.

A hand knitted jumper made in Ecuador! One of the really thick ones, be good for the winter. Same as this one: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Pachamama-Hand-Made-100-Wool-Blue-Daisy-Jumper-Sweater-/271267353992?nma=true&si=lyg%252BMD%252FmVxdfJzfPA%252FyK0XUBtWg%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557

A top from Cut Loose clothing. Turns out they're quite posh! Even on EBay their stuff is expensive!

This is my top except mine is raspberry coloured: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Cut-Loose-Swing-Tunic-Jersey-Stripe-Seal-Brown-and-Charcoal/141057241138?_trksid=p2045573.m2042&_trkparms=aid%3D111000%26algo%3DREC.CURRENT%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D16581%26meid%3D1466817341133732527%26pid%3D100033%26prg%3D7839%26rk%3D1%26rkt%3D4%26sd%3D141057241138%26

On Saturday, I got a lovely brown leather Autograph handbag originally priced @ £22.When opened, I found a pair of earrings which I gave back to the helpers. When they saw that the lining was dirty and had lots of hair in the bag was reduced to £10! Bag now cleaned and being used!

Also got two Disney princess dresses for £1 each! A good haul.

I took a couple of bags of stuff to our local Salvation Army shop on Saturday, and ended up spending £25! I never usually spend as much, but got 3 real bargains for that :

    1. A beautiful Per Una Coat for me which looks like new - navy with a tiny daisy print all over it

    2. A Top Shop dress for DD3, which will be ideal for her school Christmas party

    3. A brand new ice cream maker, which is something which DD1 has wanted for ages, so has been put away for part of her birthday.

    Am so chuffed!

Not a massive bargain but I just bought an 8" white ceramic souffle dish to replace the one my husband broke about 16 years ago. Haven't made a souffle since but watch me now!
