I found my favourite Bravissimo dress in my size, perfect condition, but a new color at Salvation Army for £4 yesterday. I was wearing the dress when I found the new one! Made my day!0

I have been looking for a pottery teapot for about two weeks since dd broke my plain brown one by accident.
Yesterday I went into my local shop and saw a breakfast gift set, still in packaging. A cream small wooden tray with cream spotted red big teapot, two big matching mugs, loose tea in tin and a strainer - all for £7.50."This site is addictive!"
Wooligan 2 squares for smoky - 3 squares for HTA

:j Well done for everyone's bargains!
Still looking for the elusive tea-set. Still no luck. Will keep up the search, had a little look yesterday but no joy.
Did think I had found a jam pan for Koolkatsaffi though :j, but it was a false alarmsaw a large "jam pan type handle" poking through a pile of saucepans. Sadly, it was just a large, quite thin stainless steel open pan (not a heavy one)...
Thanks for posting everyone. x0 -
Saucepans are things I never see in the CSs I haunt. I wonder why? Still, it's not like I need any at the moment. Strangely, there's absolutely nothing I can think of that I'm actually in dire need of. That wont stop me browsing and finding little treasures, however. I was coveting a lovely white linen tablecloth the other day. I really thought about buying it. Why? I don't even own a table to put it on.0

Great week so far, a Danimac 3/4 length mac in mustard and navy, sounds awful, looks lovely for £5 just right for my easter holiday, a couple of Harrys dinosaur books for DGS and a novel for me all for a £1. Oh and a shark tshirt for same DGS £1.50 (had to trawl ebay for a couple last year, he loves shark tshirts). Currently hunting for pretty cup and saucer sets and or mugs to fill and wrap for a raffle me and a friend do at a dog show in the summer. Love reading about all your finds. xSlightly bitter0

Lidl have riveters coming in today i think for £2.99
This week I found a crisp white cotton child's nightie, Victorian style with rosebuds embroidered on the chest for £2.
Going to look picture perfect on my blonde haired blue eyed five year old girl (and in a couple of years on my green eyed brunette too, they are both gorgeous and I'm only slightly biased) She may not want to wear it but I'm taking a lovely photo of her in it so i can pretend she was always that angelic!

Well I hit the jackpot today!!!! I got an old vintage leather minisuitcase for 50p!!!! I have seen these for £10 in some of the local shops. So I grabbed it and now my beloved tablelinens live in it!! I also got a fabric storage case a big one from ikea for 50p as well. The clothes I got 2 pairs of monsoon trousers and 2 jumpers for £4.00. Eldest DS wanted new school trousers so I got some out of the Red Cross for 75 and a lakeland shirt for moi for 75p. And a per una cardi for £2.00. Then I got to think that he might not like those ones so I got some TU ones brand new for £3.60 and you know those little souviner dolls you get when you go on holiday? 50p each and they are really old. So I had a mega haul today!!!!Has anyone seen my last marble:A:A:A:A

Wow, well done everyone. I can't tell you how much I enjoy reading your posts especially when I get home from a wretched late shift like last night & need something lighthearted & positive to read to get me off to sleep (in a nice way, of course!).
I'm being good this week due to over-expenditure on petrol on last week's futile trip out of town &, like BitterAndTwisted, I don't neeeed anything at all so am staying out of temptation's way.
Talking of petrol, the queues here for fuel were bonkers yesterday & same again today. Talking of which, will have to keep my eyes peeled in CS for another petrol can. Already have a little one which I keep full in case DS moped runs out of petrol in middle of nowhere (really it's a back-up for when he blows all his wages within a couple of days of getting paid & has no cash left for fuel - he always pays me back when the next pay day comes around &he'll learn to manage his money one day...:)
Sorry, rambling, blooming late shifts make you bonkers - you get home tired out, then can't sleep, then feel "half-baked" next day!0 -
No luck this week at CS but like others there is nothing I can truly say I need, but doesn't stop me looking. Still reading about all the wonderful finds other post here is just as exciting it really is. Mind you I might not have found anything but hubby is very happy as he found three autobiographies (HB) on people he really likes plus two DVDs all for £5 so he is one very happy bunny.Need to get back to getting finances under control now kin kid at uni as savings are zilch
