i doubt this is a permanent price drop, i guess its to get rid of a lot of excess stock before the ps3 is released0

im a little sceptical, have currys been advertising this? and other the post on hotdeals where has it been mentioned??
I understand that asda did the £49 deal for a day, and the adverts in the papers were used to draw customers into the shop, and so even if they were super cheap theyd still make more money by getting hundreds more customers into the store to get their shopping, who wouldnt usually shop there.. ie good marketing and good profits..
but i dont see the plus side for currys if they did it for a day without advertising, (other than getting rid of a few extra ps2s)0 -
I have been bitten by Currys reserve in store before. Be warned just because you reserve it and it says in stock doesn't mean that they have it. I hate this company. Ring them before you set off.0

They are going to be £50 instore at Currys tommorow.
You are kidding me, aren't you?
They were £49.00 in ASDA!"Unhappiness is not knowing what we want, and killing ourselves to get it."Post Count: 4,111 Thanked 3,111 Times in 1,111 Posts (Actual figures as they once were))Women and cats will do as they please, and men and dogs should relax and get used to the idea.0 -
Which doesn't make them as you said "A hell of a lot cheaper at ASDA"...
Besides, you can sell the EyeToy game you get with the Currys deal on eBay hencing knocking off more money on the deal and making it cheaper than the ASDA one.0 -
It's past midnight and I was expecting the PS2 to be advertised now for £50. Website still shows £94.99
