Ps2 £50 plus free eye toy

Guys - to resolve this issue once and for all.

I went into Curry's Leam and spoke to the store staff and the manager who all looked quizzical. We then went and used their stock system to check prices and availability.

There are offers from 49.99 to 69.99 depending if you buy one with Console or Console plus games. I saw it myself on their system.

It is however on the Old Black PS2, not the slimline sliver version.

The stock is sporadically located and as opposed to Asda's strategy of a big announcement and limited stocks, Curry's are just clearing it to make space. They could do so as they perhaps had say a couple of thousand of all PS2's in total in stores and not shipping them in batches to store for a big launch as Asda did. Asda did it for publicity to get peeps into store; Curry's are doing it to get rid of old stock. If they made a big song and dance, they'd have to ensure stock in all branches. If they didn't they could be accused of misleading customers..

I got a slim line one and breaking news the Buzz game was in the box mmmmmmmwwwwwaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhh even longer evil laugh. I am sure many people got slim lines like me! My nephew will be well chuffed!:j

Iv been looking for the "old style" .. geeze! ,,, did anyone buy the oldstyle today .. and do u have the product code ..so i can call currys.. many thanks

None available near me but according to Mr Currys, this offer was only available at selected stores, about 20 stores nationwide with very limited stocks, doesnt think they will repeat it.

There is NO such offer. I phoned the local store and the minimum they said was £94.

The SKU number of the slim lines is 139381 just in case you want a skinny one! Quite a few SA looked unhappy at my clinching this bargain, they probably thought they could have made some money on it!

toda i saw two PS2's in Currys, one with Buzz pack and the other with singers pack....they were empty boxes, didn't ask for the price or whether they have then in stock...
