BM Savings - 2 year Fixed Rate ISA - 4.05% AER

Sorry this has probably been answered before, but I couldn't see on this thread. As I go through the application (online) it has a rate of 3.98% rather than the advertised 4.05%
Is this to be expected?...
This is if you've selected the monthly option, which is 3.98%, this works out as 4.05% AER.0 -
Ok thanks very much 10_66 - I'll go ahead with this
If one elects to keep the interest in the ISA account is year 2 interest based on the new total balance?
This looks like a very nice ISA (my first actually).
Thanks again0 -

Have a look HERE , click on the tab "account conditions", and then paragraph numbered 4 for their explanation of when interest is paid.0 -
Hi,
I know no one is a mind reader but does anyone think this account is likely to get pulled this year?
Thanks in advance!0 -

No you don't need to pay in a cheque if you're going to open the account by transferring previous year/years' ISA/s. You only need to complete the transfer form and send it back to BM along with the confirmation slip (they send you these after completing the online application or if you ring them). You can add to the account if you wanted to subscribe this year's allowance, but only while the account remains on offer, and no one will know when that is until they withdraw it.0 -
Thanks 10_66 just completed application. Was there anywhere on the form to tell them I would be transfering in because at the end it did not say they were sending a transfer form. It only mentioned confirmation slip and cheque for opening deposit. TIA xCherish those you have in your life because you never know when they won't be there anymore.

No there wasn't anywhere on the online application to ask for a transfer form. The transfer form is included with the stuff they send out to you for return (ie the confirmation slip, the online application doesn't actually open the account, it just prompts the confirmation slip and transfer form to be sent to you).0 -
I have used BM in the past and I am using them now for this years ISA and also to transfer some old ISAs for the two year fix.
I have had no problems up to now. Not too bothered about it being postal, as I won't need access to the money however, given the choice I would prefer on line access.0 -
