BM Savings - 2 year Fixed Rate ISA - 4.05% AER

I'm thinking of transferring my BM to Halifax 2% 18mths. I went to apply for this and it says I am subscribing for 2014-2105 but I dont want to add new money to this account I just want to transfer in. Is it possible to do this and would it be possible to open an ISA account elsewhere later on in the year or will I have to put the new money in this account?
What you are suggesting is fine. As long as you don't pay any new money into the Halifax ISA, you can open another whenever you want. The wording is misleading, but sadly Halifax isn't the only one0 -
Sorry to ask yet another question. Halifax say transfers take 13-15 days - when would be the recommended time to initiate this transfer as I don't want this done before the old ISA matures.0

There's an option on the transfer form to opt to wait until the ISA matures. They say to wait until there's 30 days or less to maturity date.0
