Yes, it is counterproductive to remove the bag, as all that will happen is that the car owner will get a letter out of the blue a couple of weeks later. Adding a note into the bag, or underneath it, is far better practice.

However if this becomes "official" policy to warn victims, we could add our own little bag (perhaps a green one?) under the other windscreen wiper, complete with a warning saying that it would be illegal to remove it- just in case the PPC gets any ideas?:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Whatever happened to 'the Customer is King'?!
It disappeared in the 1970's. Now - especially at the large chain supermarkets - the customer is simply the resource to be exploited.

As for the OP's question - what legislation would he breach if he drew all over the PPC's tickets? s.1 Criminal Damage Act 1971.
My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016). :(

For those seeking more detailed advice and guidance regarding small claims cases arising from private parking issues I recommend that you visit the Private Parking forum on PePiPoo.com

I've just looked at "free" business cards. For £6.70 you get 250 with enough text to describe how to get more info and not to pay. I'm tempted I have to say as they are a perfect size and plainness to quickly slip behind the invoices !

Regarding the little yellow bags, technically if you took it, it would be theft, as you intend to deprive the rightful owner of the little yellow bag of said bag.
However who is the owner? The PPC has given it away and I am sure the driver does not want it!

You could always post the bag back to the PPC before the driver gets back to the car. The driver has not taken possession of it yet so it still belongs to the PPC. By posting it back to them you have not deprived the owner (PPC) of its property.

It would be interesting to see if a PPC (or driver) would ever take this further. I imagine the police would just laugh at them.
What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?

I can just see the Police wanting to take that up... not. With crime statistics, they don't want to take on any case now that isn't a. open and shut, or, b. too serious for them to ignore.

And what would the value of the "damage" be? It has to be quantified to found a charge, I believe.

And, since the PPC has given the document to the car driver, it would be for the car driver to make the complaint... can't see that happening somehow.

Tell you what ive been doing recently.... UKPC this is me, Pinderfields hospital has converted many of its own old buildings into flats, the said flats and the complex they are in are patrolled by our old friends UKPC, what ive been doing is peeling the ticket envelope off the windscreen and attaching a buisness card to the back of the ticket envelope, then resticking it to the windscreen....no damage to the envelope or the ticket :) ... simples and you cant tell its been tampered with unless you look into the car and look through the windscreen.

They have started to ticket there on a road that leads into the complex....no dy's for them to say you cant park here and distinct lack of signage, I have advised many folks in recent weeks to this site and the illegality of your fake tickets so its my fault you are loosing your beer money at PINDERFIELDS HOSPITAL WAKEFIELD hahahahahaha up your pal ! :rotfl::rotfl:
You may click thanks if you found my advice useful

Naughty boy telling them, they would never have worked it out for themselves and would have lost interest in the site as it wasn't earning them any money...

    It's not car-park management, it's car park mismanagement :o

Yes for a small fee they can mismanage you car-park for you, drive away customers once they get invoiced for parking 1mm over a white line or parking 1 second longer than the "time allowed" due to the shop being busy
