Sorry for bringing this thread back to FiT payments but anybody else with SSE know roughly how long they are to pay out?
1st meter reading submitted 7th of July. Wondered if anyone had any experience with them and has an idea of how long I`ll need to wait?

Average around 2 months from meter read, pants init? I submitted on 1/7 and am still waiting for well over £700.
On an upside, they are supposed to be implementing a new system for faster payments which should kick in next year, won't happen for me though, me and SSE have issues:mad:

Limited to the UK I guess, otherwise we would get some silly numbers.
    7.something (fill in the gap) - I don't think I've ever seen an 8.

Sounds about right. I've not seen my post here beaten:

Just looking back though the last few weeks.

    New record was hit on 05/06 - 30.5kw/h or 7.6 O's !

But.. it wasn't a bell curve by any means - major drop around 3pm for a good hour.

But I'm a relative newbie on here. I know there's another poster on here who has had a few 7.x's.

I would have said 8 must be possible given the above and that technically that's actually 8.36 O's since I'm limited to 3.65kw/h!

As if by magic, my cheque has arrived, unfortunately my issues came with it too, it's nearly £200 shy

Unfortunately it goes on your panel total, anything else is just cheating

Definition of 'O's = kWh/kWp (kWh = your daily & accurate Generation figure) (kWp = the rated output of your PV Panels).

    3.47 O's for us today!!!

Just for the interest of others with Eon for their FIT payments. Eon recently sent us an e-mail about setting up an account for our fit payments.. This was easy to do!!! It contains all the details of your readings and FIT payments etc. You just log in to your account and give your FIT reading every quarter. Or dip in to your account any time you want to!!! Previous to this they just e-mailed us to ask for our FIT reading and asked that we click on the link. But the link never worked and the e-mail stated not to reply via their e-mail as replies were not monitored. So I always used to ring them instead to make sure they definitely got our reading.

From what I understand the new on-line FIT account will replace the paper statements they normally send!!

Our SPs were installed on 22nd Aug 2011 so are three years old today. TGM read zero on installation and 11031 at dawn this morning. Total payments received amount to £4823.26 which is approx. 40% of original investment.

Inverter has only recorded 11016 kWh in same period. The error is only 0.13% but it's still quite amusing to think that twenty feet of cable has 'generated' 14.5 kWh over three years :D

Funny you should say that Eric, just checked my ESE and the inverter shows 4907kWh yet my generation meter which is 6 feet away has clocked up 5043kWh(2.7% difference)

    I'm certainly not complaining c05141.gif

Sounds like in your cases the inverter is recording too little - most including me have it the other way round

Glad you like the new online facility for FIT customers edwink. :)

At the moment, the things you can do online are limited. You'll continue to receive paper correspondence from us as before. Replacing paper with online options is something we're looking at though.

I've posted some details about it on the Energy Board at the following link.

    https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/comment/66083130#Comment_66083130

Hope you find them of interest. It's still early days yet and we're aiming to keep improving the service over the coming months.
