Much like one swallow not making a summer, one summer doesn't make 20 years of inflation linked FiT payments :)
My PV system: South West England, 10x 250Wp Trina Solar panels, Fronius Inverter, South facing roof, 35° pitch with no shading.

ahh, your right! Plus when it comes to my last year of the 20 it will end just after the summers optimum generation. I wonder if we will still be posting our daily O's then :p

And Oscarthegrouch, I was overseas with work at the time so that's my excuse for taking a whole 5 days to sign & return the contract.
Fair comment; thanks......I wish I could take my panels abroad at the mo....only 3.64 O's today...t1943.gifcoffee.gif
2.5 kWp PV system, SSW facing, 45 Deg Roof. ABB Inverter, Monitor: 'Wattson'.
Reg. for FIT Nov 2011. "It's not what you generate; it's how you use it that matters". One very clean Vauxhall Diesel Sri, £30.00 Road Tax: B)

Definition of 'O's = kWh/kWp (kWh = your daily & accurate Generation figure) (kWp = the rated output of your PV Panels).

Limited to the UK I guess, otherwise we would get some silly numbers.
    7.something (fill in the gap) - I don't think I've ever seen an 8.
2kWp Solar PV - 10*200W Kioto, SMA Sunny Boy 2000HF, SSE facing, some shading in winter, 37° pitch, installed Jun-2011, inverter replaced Sep-2017 AND Feb-2022.

oh yes, definately just the UK!

I wonder if they have something similar to FIT in the USA? Imagine 14p per kwh and living in California!

Hi Jim. Best I had was before higher summer temperatures came in and I achieved 7.67 O`s....never been close in the last couple of months sadly. Biggest surprise for me was peak generation being before summer really hit us!

Sorry for bringing this thread back to FiT payments but anybody else with SSE know roughly how long they are to pay out?
I was installed 26th of Feb, contract received, signed and returned in June, 1st meter reading submitted 7th of July. Wondered if anyone had any experience with them and has an idea of how long I`ll need to wait?

FYI about 2550 kWh generated since install :A
3.975 kWp System, South facing, 21 degree pitch, 15 x Canadian Solar Elps, Samil Inverter, location NE Scotland (Fraserburgh) Bring on the Sun
