Always seems to be good up here in (soon to be independent) Scotland when it`s poorer down south!

... up here in (soon to be independent) Scotland ...
    Hi

Out of interest, has anyone stated with a degree of certainty what would happen to the legal status of continuation of UK government contracts under an independent parliament? ... would all existing UK contracts be honoured by an independent Scottish government?, would all contracts suddenly become void or open to renegotiation on national terms?, would the energy companies be obliged to comply with a smaller contract with a successor government under the same terms as the economies of scale available to a UK wide scheme? ....

I find questions like these to be really interesting, but I'd guess that any answer this side of the vote would be as vague as any other seems to be, whilst (depending on the result) the answer will either never be given or not be exactly as expected .... ah well, so much for politics - as normal the only winners will be those playing the game to their own advantage from the inside ....

I`ve never even heard the subject come up tbh. I`d hope my contract would be honoured though. Seriously though, the general consensus up here seems to be swaying slowly towards `Yes`, never thought I`d see the day! All the `No Thanks` signs up here seem to last about 24 hours before they `disappear`
Sorry, I`m off on a tangent. Over 5 O`s for me again today :D

    13.197kwh generated today = some 3.29925 O's

Its certainly interesting to compare figures with other set-ups varying by location, orientation etc.

I know there are varied opinions of diversionary devices amongst folk but anyway, 5.48 kwh dumped to hot water today by iboost.

Can't see Alex paying the FIT; and I think there are loads of things that have not come up. FIT payments in Euro's as Scotland will not have the GBP..... as they would not be part of GB :rotfl:

    3.68 O's today coffee.gif

Don`t care how I get it Oscar, as long as I get it. I think it would be fine. And also think we`d still have the pound, although I think the Yes voters are going to be disappointed anyway. Anyway, back to PV..... ;)
