. Should have read the post more than once before going off to look at my figures. System 1 produced 92kWh in Dec and System 2 produced 79kWh. So therefore March was not as good as the previous 3 months combined. 347 cf 275 and 304 cf 254.

Dec 13: 107 kWh
Jan 14: 122 kWh
Feb 14: 223 kWh
(3 month total: 452 kWh vs PVGIS estimate of 357kWh, or +26%)
Mar 14: 331.4 kWh (with half a day to go)
Our 45 degree pitch means March is unlikely to exceed the winter generation, even if the winter generation was average (which it wasn't this winter).Cider Country Solar PV generator: 3.7kWp Enfinity system on unshaded SE (-36deg azimuth) & 45deg roof0 -

What seems to be working quite well for me at the moment, is simply trying to pick a decent spell of sunshine in the day (like it is as I type this) and put tub temp up to max. Granted it will all not all be free power, but it will be most of the time and at a reduced cost the remainder. I then reduce tub temp so that it doesn't click on through the night, when I'm guaranteed to pay for all of it!
I know it's still not a perfect scenario, but it is making a big difference to our electric usage. We managed to get cost down to £0.89 for yesterday. This is a massive difference to pre pv, when we were averaging £2.25-£2.50 a day.
I hope that ramble made sense.....it did in my head at least:D4kw (16X250w Sharp). Samil Solar River 3680 TL inverter.

Just had my generation meter read for the first time this morning
Anyway with a few hours to go to the end of the month compared the reading taken by the chap and compared it to my PVGIS target, 9% up so far0 -
A slow and steady day finishing on 10.8kwh. The air tonight feels like a thunderstorm is on it's way⚡️☔️
As you are all posting figures for the months end, I thought I'd submit mine for the 21 days since installation....
....273.3kwh. I'm not sure what the weather was like early on in the month (it's strange how you don't pay much attention before you have pv installed!), but if the last 21 days were averaged out over a full month we would have achieved over 400kwh:T
Looking forward to seeing what April brings:)4kw (16X250w Sharp). Samil Solar River 3680 TL inverter.

Combined 481kWh(74 O's) over my 3 systems this month, PVGIS was for 408kWh(62.7 O's) so just under 20% up...for march...NICE
Next FiT readings for 2 of the systems are due and should be around £310 for the quarter
Another couple of O's ish today, like Marts, my WNW should really start to do the business for BST with PVGIS estimates of another 50% increase on March for April(hope so)
Leccy Import for the month was 293kWh(Er?????? O's anyone)
2 kWp SEbE , 2kWp SSW & 2.5kWp NWbW.....in sunny North Derbyshire17.7kWh Givenergy battery added(for the power hungry kids)0 -
It would be jolly difficult to get a March figure that was greater than the total of Jan + Feb + March ! Unless of course Jan & Feb were both negative.
Well, I never knew a GM could run backwards; you learn something new every day......life is just one big generation curve.......:rotfl:
2nd best March since installation!
Generation:
March 2012: 105.52 O's
March 2013: 64.12 O's
March 2014: 103.68 O's
Today:- 3.04 O's.......
If today was tomorrow, I would have been around £0.10p wealthier.2.5 kWp PV system, SSW facing, 45 Deg Roof. ABB Inverter, Monitor: 'Wattson'.

So that's March and a rather better month than of late.
Total: 198.55 kWh, 25% above SAF PVGIS (49% above classic)
2013: 105.16 kWh
2012: 203.03 kWh
Best day: 16th, 10.95 kWh
Worst day: 25th, 1.56 kWh
Today was particularly disappointing, the forecast was sunny all day, which did not change throughout the day, but it was cloudy all day with not a bit of unbroken sunshine that I noticed.2kWp Solar PV - 10*200W Kioto, SMA Sunny Boy 2000HF, SSE facing, some shading in winter, 37° pitch, installed Jun-2011, inverter replaced Sep-2017 AND Feb-2022.0
