    Hi All

Well, quite an interesting point .... today we passed the threshold where one month's (March's) generation exceeds that of the previous 3 months combined ....

    ... it's a first for us - wonder if it'll ever happen again ... ;)

Here too, March has surpassed January and February combined.

System 1 produced 104kWh in Jan, 151kWh in Feb and 275kWh in March so far.

System 2 produced 92kWh in Jan, 133 kWh in Feb and 254kWh in March so far.

The last few days have seen System 2 catching up with System 1 as the panel angles become more favourable and the shading in the afternoon reduces as the angle of the sun increases.

329.6kWh this month with one day to go, against a PVGIS classic estimate of 256kWh (+29%). We're not going to beat March 2012 though which clocked up 365.1kWh (+43%).

Forecast doesn't look too great for tomorrow though.

I just checked ours and we're nowhere near. Did you have some bad months over winter?

Last 3 months for us were 417kWh (Dec 103,Jan 121,Feb 193) and March was 328kWh

    Hi

Previous months weren't particularly bad. Generation was over PVGIS4 prediction in both Dec & Jan, followed by a pretty impressive Feb with March being well up on March 2012 ....

    Hi

I'd say that comparing the current month to the previous 3 would be taken as being March14 vs (Dec13+Jan14+Feb14) ....

It would be jolly difficult to get a March figure that was greater than the total of Jan + Feb + March ! Unless of course Jan & Feb were both negative.

Similar boat here, but almost expected. Dec + Jan + Feb targets total 344kWh, with March's target being 340kWh.

Actual results for last 4 months (estimating today as average) I have 337.5kWh v's 377.2kWh.

Previous year (2012-13) was 323.9 v's 283.9 so an improvement all round this year.

My shallow off-south panels really kick-in in March.

Mart. Cardiff. 8.72 kWp PV systems (2.12 SSW 4.6 ESE & 2.0 WNW). 20kWh battery storage. Two A2A units for cleaner heating. Two BEV's for cleaner driving.

Ooops. sorry :o. Should have read the post more than once before going off to look at my figures. System 1 produced 92kWh in Dec and System 2 produced 79kWh. So therefore March was not as good as the previous 3 months combined. 347 cf 275 and 304 cf 254.
