Hi all. Just curious, anyone got their gas hot water switched off yet?my dad tried it and got away with it for about 4/5 days until my mum decided to have a late night bath....after my dad had showered. The hot water is now back on haha.
I'm thinking the days are not quite long/sunny enough yet? This'll be my first summer with the pv installed, interested to see when the hot water can be switched off.

I can never switch my Gas Boiler off, no immersion heater in the house. During summer, I switch to manual, and can get away with every other day, for 1/2 hour of gas usage; as it is a small gas boiler (Not Combi).

    Yesterday managed 2.56 O's....:)

    Today...........WOW...... a HAWAII + 1.04 O's...what a result...:j:j:beer: coffee.gif

March is now a record month for us. 320kWh so far and 2 more days to go! Looks like we may be about 5% up on 2012 which was an excellent month and will be double 2013.

Yes you did say, say (writ, in case Investor comes along) '2.69 's' today...:D I managed 3.2 O's...

On the bright side, I see a 49.2 kWp system in West Sussex only manages an average of 3.32 O's per day; and they have every optimization system they can find, to increase generation. So on the whole, our little contribution to the environment (our Bank Account) fairs quite well in comparison.....smiley-laughing021.gif

Below is how the Hawaii (Oscar +) was documented for yesterday.........:rotfl: coffee.gif..

    Hi All

Well, quite an interesting point .... today we passed the threshold where one month's (March's) generation exceeds that of the previous 3 months combined ....

    ... it's a first for us - wonder if it'll ever happen again ... ;)

I just checked ours and we're nowhere near. Did you have some bad months over winter?

Last 3 months for us were 417kWh (Dec 103,Jan 121,Feb 193) and March was 328kWh
