Got my cheque from my FITs provider today. Hats off to SSE for only taking just under 2 months this time, things must be improving.
1.5 O's(9.7kWh) today, looking good for the next couple of days too, keep the £££'s rolling in(shame I have to wait so long to get my hands on it)2 kWp SEbE , 2kWp SSW & 2.5kWp NWbW.....in sunny North Derbyshire17.7kWh Givenergy battery added(for the power hungry kids)0 -

EOn 5-10 days Max; normal 5 days...ask them for interest; bet they are charging the tax payer(you via Gov.)from when you submit your reading.....:mad:2.5 kWp PV system, SSW facing, 45 Deg Roof. ABB Inverter, Monitor: 'Wattson'.

1.82 O's yesterday...32kWh needed in 4 days for Feb PVGIS:D
Eon FIT payment (£137.63)cleared in my bank in 6 days as Oscar says:T16 Sanyo Hit 250s.4kWp SMA 3.8kWp inverter. SW roof. 28° pitch. Minimal shade. Nov 2011 install. Hybrid car. Ripple Kirk Hill. N.E Lincs Coast.0 -
Unfortunately i'm stuck with them due to their incompetence on a certain matter. Hopefully one day in the next 24 years they'll speed things up :eek:2 kWp SEbE , 2kWp SSW & 2.5kWp NWbW.....in sunny North Derbyshire17.7kWh Givenergy battery added(for the power hungry kids)0

Hi, Gang!
I thought I'd drop in just to say that three of the last five days have been Hawaiis up here on the South Downs (and no risk of flooding at this altitude)!
However, as the talk seems to be of the speed - or slowness - of FIT payments, I suppose I should report another odd natural phenomenon, a bit like the astronomical Precession of the Equinoxes, but harder to grasp. British Gas, my FIT provider, is apparently so keen to pay me that it not only turns my readings into cash in (typically) a week, but asks me for a reading before the quarter is up. My system went live on the 29th day of the month. In nine quarters, the 29th has turned into the 3rd, and last quarter I had the cheque in the bank two weeks before the reading was actually due. Any explanations of this odd quirk of nature will be gladly received by

Sounds like a bit of dodgy dealing from a foreign company. Are you saying they paid you an estimated FIT reading in advance?
For interest, how are you working out your Hawaii?
2.96 O's today; just over 1/2 of a Hawaii.2.5 kWp PV system, SSW facing, 45 Deg Roof. ABB Inverter, Monitor: 'Wattson'.

Hi, wondered if you guys could confirm a few things please.
I got my system put in on Monday! 3.975 Kw system, exactly south facing roof, I`d estimate pitch around 30-35 degrees.
First full day of operating yday, now it seemed to me yesterday was an exceptional day of sunshine (up here in NE Scotland anyway) and apparently I generated 13.9 Kw, is this what I should expect?
I expected less to be honest....maybe I just got them installed on the right day!

That sounds perfectly reasonable to me, most peeps on here would give their right arm now and again to get "an exceptional day of sunshine";)
Just wait while you post back with a big fat Zero because its either chucked it down all day or you have a beautiful blanket of the white stuff sat on them:rotfl:2 kWp SEbE , 2kWp SSW & 2.5kWp NWbW.....in sunny North Derbyshire17.7kWh Givenergy battery added(for the power hungry kids)0
