Renewables: "talking 'bout my generation"

I use a 600w kettle, takes 210 seconds to boil half a litre.
Can usually find 600w to spare.
Think waiting 3.5 minutes would be a wasted boil for me; would have gone off the idea by then.....:D
Not a bad day; produced a/an Hawaii + 0.28 O's. My import today so far is http://wattson.energyhive.com/dashboard/oscarsenergy very rare for me to get away with less than 100 kWh per month, perhaps June is a possibility

Our last camping kettle was 500 watts (Mart), cant remember how long that took to boil now. It died on us last year but all was not lost because we had a spare 1kw kettle (Mart) that we picked up at a car boot sale for 50p ready just in case. That reminds me we must start to look out for another camping kettle (Mart) to keep as a spare now the car boot sale season has started. Can't be without our cups of coffee and don't want to be using logs in the middle of the summer
Ever thought about getting a camping kettle Mart?

HiOscar is right 70kWh is good, in fact very good. At 2.33kWh a day it would take a lot to beat that even from the guys on this thread.
Just out of interest what do others import per day? I am asking as this may prove to ajbell that he is in fact doing well with his low import.

Electricity imported here for 12 months to end March'16 was 1049kWh, so ~2.9kWh/day ... March'16 itself was 88.5kWh, so also ~2.9kWh/day ... Lowest month in series was June (~1.8kWh/day). highest December (~4.4kWh/day)
Main import usage is kitchen/food related which accounts for ~60% of total annual electricity imports ... hob & ovens are electric (~25%), also large (~2m high) matched pair fridge&freezer (~15%) with the remainder being shared between the kettle and other small appliances ....
